Next week, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. heads to the 1970s where the team will reunite with a number of familiar faces, including General Rick Stoner (Patrick Warburton), as they work on finding a way to foil the Chronicoms' latest evil plot.

However, it sounds like once they get close to cracking the case, the Zephyr will send them to another point in time that's not only important to the future of S.H.I.E.L.D., but also to the future of Director Mack.

The latest batch of photos showcase Agents Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) on their latest mission while also offering a look at the time-displaced Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) in the '70s.

Very excited about this!

If you could choose one character (that isn't Fitz) to reappear this season, who would it be? I am still hoping that Cal somehow gets to see Daisy again, personally.

@HeavyMetal4Life - That Enoch line at the end cracked me up. It's funny to think of Enoch as a much more chill Terminator.

Rumor has it that during season 5 when the 3 monoliths exploded, it created and sent the agents to a new timeline separate from the main MCU timeline(which is why there was no mention of the snap).

Everything that happened from the end of season 5 through 6 took place in an alternate timeline. In the main timeline where the snap occurred there was no Sarge, no Izel, Talbot never became Graviton(he was a snap victim), etc.

By the end of this season they'll end up back in the main MCU timeline so they can eventually join S.W.O.R.D.

This is all just rumors right now but. it sounds pretty believable; Especially since the showrunners did say that the snap will be addressed this season.

@MARVELFAN1995 - rumor from where?

@HeavyMetal4Life - It was a 4chan post that got deleted a few months ago. You should definitely take the rumor with a grain of salt but, the fact that it got deleted gives a little more credibility.

@MARVELFAN1995 - yeah, I'm taking that with a grain of salt. Out of curiosity, how do they get back in the main timeline.

@HeavyMetal4Life - It doesn't say but, I'm guessing that when they jump back to the present they'll end up in 2020(during the 5 years of the post snap world). Then I could see a time jump to post Endgame with the agents now with S.W.O.R.D. during the series finale.
