While the last episode of
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. let us in on the secret, a new clip from next Tuesday's episode "What If..." finally reveals to Daisy that
Grant Ward is lying in her bed. Daisy is shocked, as she was expecting a different dead man to be under the covers (specifically her old flame Lincoln), and she instinctively tries "quaking" Ward to a surprising result - she has no powers in the artificial world of the Framework.
In addition to discovering Ward is "alive" again, Daisy also gets a look at her new ID badge, which shows she's an operative of
Hydra Homeland Strategic Defense, and is using the name Skye again. H.H.S.D. may not have the same ring as S.H.I.E.L.D., but it's bound to get more dangerous as "Skye" gets used to her new surroundings.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns with
"What If..." on
April 4, 2017.
