Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for a shortened 13-episode Season 6 this summer, set in a post
Avengers: Endgame world. While details are very scarce regarding the upcoming season, we previously learned the Agents will face a new group of
mercenaries. At least part of the season is rumored to play out in the depths of space.
Thanks to a report from
Revenge of the Fans, we finally have some casting news for Season 6.
Anthony Michael Hall (
The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, The Dead Zone) reportedly joins our Agents in an undisclosed role. While the specifics of Hall's character are under wraps, his role is described as a guest appearance. This is not Hall's first foray into the world of superheroes, as he previously portrayed a Gotham Cable News reporter in
The Dark Knight.
The same report also mentions the return of two guest stars previously unannounced for the upcoming season.
Joel Stoffer will return as Enoch, the fan favorite Chronicom from Season 5 who is presently watching over a cryofrozen Fitz in deep space.
Briana Venskus will also reprise her role as Agent Piper, who has been with the show since Season 3 and was last seen with the team on Zephyr One.
Below is last month's
