As we are nerds, we feel the need to compare this and Arrow. Honestly there is no comparison. One is a show about the origin of a superhero in a world that doesn't have superheros. (as far as we know) The other is a story about dealing with the superheros we know about while finding and taking care of new ones, along with threats. Arrow is a good show, some relationship drama etc. but anytime you have complex relationships that's bound to happen. Both are decent shows. I prefer Arrow but enjoy both.

Definitely looks like a step up from the norm, which is well needed. If they can keep Peterson on the team, or at least someone with superpowers, it will force them to step up the action, just like in this clip. My only fear is that this will simply be a 3 minute scene at the climax of the episode, and then everything will be resolved and cleaned up a scene later. Hopefully this is where some overarching stories start to take on a bigger role in the series, and we can get some action that lasts longer than a scene or two and has an actual impact on the story.

Mike Peterson looks a lot lankier in the jumpsuit though, that's for sure.

I'm a big fan of Arrow, but... The first 6 episodes of Arrow weren't amazing, they were a time for finding what works well.
Looks like AoS has found it's thing

Fitz & Simmons have got to go. I know you need your "Techie BIG Brains" and all but those two are as annoying as the McDonald's Hamburgular. I hope in they find a grenade with the pin missing.

Stop being assholes about this. Arrow is a different type of show, and it's not that great, it depents on cameos and other characters to be interesting.
And the ratings, you are so proud of the ratings. The rating always go down until they introduce some character from the comics. And the ratings aren't that great, with a really good show it doesn't matter the channel (see The Walking Dead for example, breaking records). Maybe AoS have a low rating, but is because NCSI, the last episode of AoS had 9.69 millions viewers because there was no NCSI. And in any way more people see AoS than Arrow.

People should watch the show again. It is getting pretty cool, only thing I don't like is the score. I don't think its really that good. Other then that I love it,
