Honestly when he jumped out of the plane I thought he resembled the Punisher. Ward is too soft for Punisher though, and he's too young

He's holding the enchanted staff thats in the next episode. It's from Asgard and is suppose to be the connection to The Dark World.

But no one had an enchanted staff in the movie.

The thing that would be interesting is if at least some members of Coulson's are actually certain characters in disguise. Perhaps Ward is a Villain?

Coulson is now an Inhuman, "Tahiti" is Atillian. Ward is the Punisher. Agent Mae assassinated Skye's parents who were rogue agents.

Wait how could Ward be The Punisher and why would the Punisher even be a S.H.I.E.L.D agent? Kind of a big jump isn't it guys. If he was The Punisher why would he be with Shield anyway it doesn't make sense.

Honestly it he's the punisher then that would be a huge departure from the comics. Grants too soft and too much of a pretty boy. Also, does he even have a family?

That's what I was thinking except a little different. I think Wards older abusive brother is Tony Masters and that's the interesting family history he's had to rise up from. Grants last name could be his mothers maiden name...

I bet this a play on words. Dark is reference to THOR TDW. I want this show to be good but they need real character and to move faster with the Colsin lives story
