CLOAK & DAGGER: Tyrone Has A Run-In With The Law In New Photos From The Season 1 Finale: "Colony Collapse"

Cloak & Dagger will conclude its first season tomorrow, and now we have some exciting new photos from the finale, which reveal Tyrone will have even more trouble with the police before the episode ends...

Last week's episode ended on a tense note, as Dagger’s mother was held hostage and Cloak was forced to go on the run after being framed for murder. And following the exciting promo for the Season 1 finale, we now have some new photos that further tease what’s in store for the duo.

While Olivia Holt’s Tandy doesn't feature much in these images from Cloak & Dagger, there is one that seems to show her confronting the woman that took Melissa Bowen hostage.

However, we do get plenty of intriguing shots of Aubrey Joseph's Tyrone, who is still actively avoiding the police and wearing his costume to blend into the crowd at a parade. Though, it looks like his efforts won’t be entirely successful as we see him being handcuffed by a pair of police officers.

Hope the finale delivers because the last episode was a little disappointing after how good episodes 7 and 8 were.

Also, off topic but has anyone been watching the show Yellowstone?

@VisionWitch - yeah I really like Taylor Sheridan's other works, especially Sicario and Wind River (haven't seen Soldado yet but looking forward to it).

I honestly started watching Yellowstone because nothing else is on and I like Sheridan and Kevin Costner. And after 5 episodes (a new one airs tonight) its still only okay. There are things I really like about it. Costner is great as are some of the other actors. And the scenery is lovely and there are some important topics addressed (especially revolving around land development and native Americans). But the biggest problem this show has is its overly melodramatic. Like WAY too melodramatic. The character I hate most is the sister because she dials everything to 11 and I hate how she treats others. Nothing against the actress, just don't care for how that character is written. Additionally, there's certain plot points that just don't make sense; I have a hard time following why something is or isn't happening at times.

The core idea is there, I just don't think Sheridan has really figured out how to deliver on it to the utmost yet. If he cut away all the drama and really focused the story and cut out some of the less important subplots, it could be a really great show.

I need a good marvel show to watch, im a DC guy, so im mainly watching Gotham, Krypton and the Arrowverse, plus soon DC Universe is launching, but i want at least 1 marvel show.
Agents Of Shield: Only watched the first season, since the flash was starting at the same timeslot and the first season just was nothing special, not bad, but nothing to write home about. Plus i mainly watched because of Joss Whedon, and he was barely involved.
Daredevil: Great first season, second season good, but never watched it regularly, usually wait a while before I watch it.
Jessica Jones: First season was great, havent watched season 2.
Luke Cage: season 1 was pretty good, but it took me months to finish it after I was half way through.havent seen season 2
Iron Fist: This was the show that kind of killed my interest in keeping up with netflix marvel, so bad, this really took me out of it, didnt finish the season, and made me loose interest in defenders, and after that I just kind of just forgot about Punisher, but hear its good. Then I hear Jessica Jones season 2 wasnt good. It just feels like the netflix shows peeked at Daredevil and Jessica Jones season 1.
Havent seen Runaways or Cloak and Dagger.

@dracula - Well SHIELD is the best show, so that's what I would recommend... it's second to none in the comic book show game.
I do not recommend watching Jessica Jones season 2; don't do it.
Luke Cage season 2 is awesome, completely redeems the show after season 1.
You need to check out The Punisher... that's a great first season.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Thanks for the suggestion. Also how does Luke Cage season 2 hold up compared to Black Lightning season 1, cause yeah Black Lightning was way better than Luke Cage season 1

@HeavyMetal4Life - So Agents Of Shield got better, does it still rely a lot on movie plot points, cause that was one big problem of the first season, that it happened during Captain America the winter soldier, great movie, but that means this big plot point happens offscreen, so unless your going to watch Winter Soldier in the middle of watching the first season, its going to feel like something is missing and they skipped a massive plot point

HeavyMetal4Life - 8/1/2018, 8:22 PM
@dracula - yeah no problem. If you're looking for something quick to binge, do The Punisher and Luke Cage s2. But if you're looking for something longer, SHIELD is the way to go. Seriously, its second to none. Season 3 is when it became the best comic book show out there, and seasons 4 and 5 only solidified their supremacy (those seasons so great).

You're right, LCS1 < BL S1. LC S2 is much better than the first season of Black Lightning but the shows are a bit different. Season 2 of LC is quite a different beast than season 1. Its got a freaking awesome villain (who joins the ranks of great Marvel TV villains), some great character development, and awesome action.

@dracula - I wouldn't say it relies on the movies. There are some big moments and of course references, to the larger MCU. I.e. Age of Ultron, Civil War, and Infinity War. But I take it though that you've seen all the Marvel movies??
Spock0Clock

@dracula - Cloak and Dagger is probably the strongest of those you've not watched.

If you want to make the investment to watch all five seasons of Agents, it's generally better than the Arrowverse stuff and in the same vein. In particular seasons 4 and 5 are pretty strong.

Punisher is worth watching for Bernthal and for Frank's relationship with Micro, but you can probably predict everything that happens in it.

Runaways is worth a look, too, if you're not opposed to younger kids as protagonists. Not the strongest show Marvel has made, but it is occasionally the weirdest and wondrous.

@Spock0Clock - Im a Whedon fan, so ill probably give Agents Of Shield another shot, but I think ill wait for it to end next season, and just try
to binge it on Netflix. Its not Joss, but at least its his brothers.
