Filming is now underway on Daredevil: Born Again in Yonkers, New York, and even though no cast members have been spotted just yet, we do have some brief videos from the set.
Reports indicate that cameras were being set-up to shoot just outside the Mayor's office, and it's speculated that the interiors could double for a courtroom scene (which would obviously make sense given Matt Murdock's chosen profession).
Jon Bernthal has also shared another response to this week's confirmation that he'll be reprising the role of Frank Castle for the Disney+ series. He still hasn't directly commented on the news, but his recent Instagram post and this Punisher-themed YikTok video tell us all we need to know.
Bernthal has previously made it clear that he had no interest in playing a "watered down" version of the Punisher, which may indicate that this series will have a bit more edge to it than the streamer's usual MCU output. That said, it's difficult to imagine Castle being quite as ruthless as he was in the Netflix shows.
Born Again is planned as an 18-episode tale, with Matt Corman and Chris Ord on board as writers and executive producers. No premiere date has been announced, but the show is expected to bow in the spring of 2024.
Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio will return as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk after making their MCU debuts with respective appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye
