The creative team behind Marvel's Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney+ series just got a major boost with the addition of John Wick writer/creator Derek Kolstad.

According to The Wrap, Kolstad has boarded the series and will work on the script with original writer Malcolm Spellman. We're not sure if he will contribute to all six episodes or not, but his involvement certainly bodes well for the show's action sequences.

Falcon and Winter Soldier will see Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise the roles of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, and we recently found out that Daniel Brühl and Emily Van Camp were also set to return as Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter.

The six-part limited series is expected to begin production this October, and will be directed by Kari Skogland. The show is expected to debut late next year.

@Matador - I know it's just a joke, but this scene has always disturbed me in a weird way. I think it's the thought of a near eternity on that couch.

@JamesPunn - LOL the whole movie was funny and disturbing at the same time.

This show can catch us up on a lot of things Endgame didn't have time for, and Far From Home never touched on.

Like what happened to the Avengers Facility? Did it get rebuilt or do they all live in the Avengers Mansion now? Are the Avengers still even a thing, or has everyone gone their own separate ways?

And the Sokovia Accords needs to be brought up in this show too.

@KWilly - I’m pretty sure the Accords were dissolved after The Snap when they realized they [frick]ed up trying to control everything but it would be nice to see that mentioned

@KWilly - Nobody gives a shit about the Accords (or at least I don't anyway).

Seriously, I know it was the basis of some of the flicks like ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, but what did that plot point actually accomplish.

The whole thing with HYDRA being undercover with S.H.I.E.L.D. is way more impactful than the Accords and that surprisingly took less presence in the MCU aside from AGENTS OF SHIELD.

@KWilly - I desperately want Avengers Mansion as a place for the Avengers to just chill when they don't need the facility. I'm just imagining Professor Hulk reading a book in front of a fireplace while Ant-Man struggles to prepare a meal in the kitchen. Something like that being done in one-shots or Disney+ shows would be my cup of tea.

Are John Wick scripts really that good, though?
It's a franchise where Keanu and stunt teams shine best.

I'm really wondering what the premise of this show is gonna be. Especially how Sam got the Captain America shield, but still is the Falcon (as the title seems to imply)
