Sebastian Stan has shared a photo on Instagram from the set of
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and, well, we can now finally say that Battlestar is indeed coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe! As you can see in the photo below, Stan is pictures alongside Anthony Mackie (The Falcon), Wyatt Russell (Captain America), and Clé Bennett.
He's clearly in a superhero costume, of sorts, and there's a huge star on his chest which is an obvious nod to what Battlestar wears in his comic book adventures.
For those of you unfamiliar with Lemar Hoskins, he received augmented strength from the Power Broker, and acted as sidekick to his close friend John Walker when he assumed the role of Captain America. In other words, he's going to be the Bucky to the MCU's (deranged?) new Captain America.
This is definitely an interesting move on the part of Marvel Studios, and it's beginning to feel like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is going to have an even bigger impact on the MCU than suspected.
