THE FALCON & THE WINTER SOLDIER Stand Tall On Hi-Res Version Of Recent D23 Poster

The first poster for Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was unveiled last weekend at D23, but a hi-res version has now been officially released online. See Sam and Bucky standing tall right here.

The first poster for Marvel and Disney+'s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was unveiled at the D23 Expo last week, and we have a hi-res version for you guys to take a look at below.

Ryan Meinerding's artwork features Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) sporting slightly upgraded costumes, while the latter has reverted to the more clean-cut appearance he had when we were first introduced to him in The First Avenger.

Speaking of Captain America, Wilson clearly hasn't officially donned the mantle here, but there's a strong hint that he will wield the shield at some point as Falcon flies across a very familiar symbol in the background.

We recently found out that Daniel Brühl and Emily Van Camp are set to return as Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter, and it's also been announced that Overlord actor Wyatt Russel will play U.S. Agent.

The six-part limited series is scheduled to begin production this October, and will be directed by Kari Skogland. The show is expected to debut late next year.

Tell us, which of the Disney+ projects are you most looking forward to? Drop us a comment in the usual place, and check out some leaked images from the animated What If...? series below.

T'Challa As Star-Lord

What if T'Challa became Star-Lord and led the Guardians of the Galaxy instead of becoming Black Panther and ruling Wakanda? It looks like one of the episodes will answer that question, as the character is shown here sporting Peter Quill's signature helmet.

Something tells us T'Challa will display slightly different leadership qualities!

Zombie Cap

The footage descriptions touched on a brief shot of Bucky Barnes facing down Zombie Captain America, and we can see both of 'em ready to throw-down here.

We have no idea how this rather horrific take on Steve and Bucky's friendship will play out, but there's a decent chance it was Rogers, not Barnes, that fell from the train in this reality.

Skinny Steve

We know that this story will see Peggy Carter take the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers, but it looks like "Skinny Steve" will still get to fight alongside Captain Britain(?) in a suit of armor.

Captain Carter

Peggy Carter will become Captain America Britain in this alternate reality, and the character can be seen cracking a smile here alongside The Howling Commandos. In the other shot, Peggy appears to be hitching a ride from Steve Rogers in some very familiar looking armor!

@knocturnalzen10 - It's what every Captain America project does. The First Avenger introduced Arnim Zola and The Winter Soldier gave him his comic book look. The Winter Soldier introduced Brock Rumlow/Crossbones and Civil War gave him his comic book look. Civil War introduced Helmut Zemo and since there are no more Captain America movies, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier has to give him his comic book look.

I really like how Falcon's costume take a lot of inspiration from the comics

I'm pretty excited for this. Stan and Mackie have great on-screen chemistry.

Sebastian Stan occassionally stops in where I work, and I'll tell ya, that is one handsome darn man. Makes you want to have a Schmitts Gay.

(Please tell me someone gets that reference...)

This is my most anticipated show although I must admit I’m now very excited for Moon Knight and She-Hulk.

Veeeeery interested in seeing if they go Red Black and White with Falcon-Cap

I know US Agent is probably going to rock that but I'd like to see Falcon in that for at least a while

I'm most excited for Loki but I'm looking forward to all of the Disney+ shows. Not as excited for the MCU films next year.
