While Cailey Fleming delivers a scene-stealing performance in John Krasinski's IF, many of you will likely know the actress best for her role as Judith in The Walking Dead.
That's not the only major franchise she's been part of, though, as Fleming previously played a young Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and made a surprise appearance as a younger Sylvie in Marvel Studios' Loki.
Talking to us about IF - her first lead role in a feature - Fleming reflected on playing those iconic characters and revealed whether she'd be open to returning to them down the line.
"That’s a good question. I think I would definitely like to go back to those," she tells us in the video below. "That would be really cool. I loved both of those even though I played such a small part in them. I would love to do it again."
"I don’t really remember that Star Wars so much because I was only little: I was 8! I do remember J.J. Abrams being so kind to me. I was only there for one day and he was so kind to me because I just had to cry all day. I got to go to Disneyland at the end of the day thanks to him, so he’s amazing."
"I was on cloud nine doing Loki too just because I was such a big fan," Fleming added. "I was going to watch the show regardless, so whenever I was watching it and I showed up, it was really cool!"
We're sure plenty of huge projects and roles are coming Fleming's way in the years ahead, including in the Star Wars and Marvel Universes (whether it's as the same characters or different ones).
For now, we can't recommend checking out her work in IF strongly enough. Fleming is a rising star and, if she can make that significant an impact with cameo roles in The Force Awakens and Loki, the sky is surely the limit for her.
Starring Cailey Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, and John Krasinski, IF is a heartwarming and hilarious tale about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone's imaginary friends, known as IFs. She embarks on a magical journey to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids, before they disappear.
Perfect for the whole family, the movie is written and directed by Krasinski and also features a stellar voice cast including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Steve Carell, and the late Louis Gossett Jr.
IF arrives to buy or rent on Digital on June 18 from Paramount Home Entertainment and debuts on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on August 13. You can check out our full interview with Fleming by clicking here.
