Marvel has released a new trailer for Loki, and it gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the next MCU-set Disney+ series.
This latest teaser confirms that Tom Hiddleston's Loki was nabbed by the TVA (Time Variance Authority) after absconding with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. Owen Wilson's Mobius M. Mobius explains that this act somehow broke reality, and he wants the God of Mischief to help him fix it. The TVA literally knows every word Loki has ever said, so something tells us they're not going to be quick to place any trust in him - even though he does promise to stop stabbing people in the back!
Unfortunately, we don't get a glimpse of any of the other Loki "variants" that have been rumored to appear, but we do see plenty of the Asgardian trickster in action as he traverses time and space in an effort to put things right... under duress!
Check out the new trailer below, and let us know what you think.
Loki will see the God of Mischief step "out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer."
Marvel's highly-anticipated Disney+ series is set to premiere on the streaming service on June 11.
