LOKI Season 2 Details Reveal Plans For Victor Timely, Miss Minutes, And More - Possible SPOILERS

Some intriguing details about Loki season 2 shed new light on plans for an action sequence revolving around a number of key characters, including Kang the Conqueror Variant Victor Timely and Miss Minutes.

We've been waiting a long time for Loki season 2, but the series will finally return to Disney+ in October. At the end of the show's first season, the God of Mischief found himself stranded in a timeline where the TVA was ruled over by Kang, though we still don't know which Variant that is or what it means for the wider MCU.

However, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania's post-credits scene saw Loki and Mobius (Earth-616's, we're assuming) in the past and watching on as Kang Variant Victor Timely delivered a speech about time.

Now, The Cosmic Circus has revealed that the scene - which we will revisit in Loki season 2 - takes place during the World's Columbian Exposition, set in 1893, in Chicago.

It's during this event we'll reportedly see a "sizeable" action sequence that features Loki, Mobius, Victor Timely, and Miss Minutes, suggesting the latter's role in assisting these Kangs will be further explored as the Multiverse Saga continues.

The Ferris Wheel showcased back in 1893 will be part of the backdrop for many scenes, while "Victor Timely and his Astounding Emporium Marvels" look set to be front and centre.

However, this is just one of many timelines we'll visit, and the site adds that Loki season 2 "will occur across multiple branched timelines, with some of these timelines taking us somewhere familiar and others diverging into entirely brand-new times and places." Apparently, "each timeline focuses on a new story to tell," so here's hoping it begins making sense of the story Marvel Studios is determined to tell with this ever-expanding Saga.

According to the official synopsis, "Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority."

"Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose."

Loki season 2 will premiere on Disney+ this October.

Marvel went multiverse too soon.
You go multiverse when you basically have no other stories to tell.
They should have gone earth bound, grounded, street level heroes with hints toward the X-Men
Then cosmic and introduced Fantastic 4 and Silver Surfer.
Then further into the mutant world and the war with the sentinels.
Then multiverse ending with Secret Wars.

Shoulda, Woulda. Coulda

@TyrantBossMedia - They def should have shuffled everything around once they got fox. Secret Wars would have been much better if FF and Doom was established. Its was the ultimate FF story to begin with. Bring Downey and Evans back for it, make billions.

But no...

@AvalonX - Agreed. Downey, Evans, Johansson.
Do it within about 10 years and you can use Secret Wars to reboot some of the aging out heroes.

This is what happens when you don’t have a plan.

Honestly, they rushed and ignored a majority of the awesome story-lines to rush to Secret Wars in order for a partial or full reboot to get back characters they already rushed past.

One of the things DC is doing wrong with its story telling is making their stories irrelevant in the face of an upcoming reboot and for those who know Marvel comics, that's exactly what Marvel are now doing with the rush to Secret Wars.

None of the Phase 4-6 stuff is going to matter, both because it's been generally rejected by audiences and because they'll have a new universe with new rebooted characters and any characters that transfer from Phase 4-6 will have re-established dynamics in Phase 7-9.

@Scarilian - Basically. DC is trying to do what it should have done and was in position to do in 2008, but they were so concerned with being considered Marvel copycats that they intentionally went in a different direction and rushed through so many great stories thereby ruining them.

Personally, I just don't get the point of building up to a reboot. For DC at least most this stuff was in production, but Marvel started Phase 4 and intends to do Phase 4-6 entirely to lead to a reboot that they could just do anyway.

@Scarilian - Marvel has painted themselves into such a corner they are now desperate to find their way out.

Agreed, I'm guessing they just intend to push to Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars - but their main concern now is if those films under the 'Avengers' title under-perform or worse flop.

@Scarilian - Yeah, They really screwed up the Avengers by making Endgame so final. They never left a senior Avenger who would lead the next team.

Thor isn't the future. Hulk isn't he future, but was the closest.
Ant Man isn't
Hawkeye isn't
War Machine isn't.
Wanda isn't.

They should have never wiped out Cap and Tony.
Cap should have been leading the future team.

Honestly Tony should have never died, but they had to be cute about it.

This will be more filler for the movies, like it always is. [frick] Independence Day, my grandma died today

I'm still pleased as punch that they got Owen Wilson in this fray. He and Hiddleston were just great in Midnight in Paris. (Yellowjacket/MODOK himself was also great in that.)

Why does it feel like this season won't do as well as the first season? Not even the rabid fangirls would save it.
Feels like the audience has lost interest in a lot of what's going on with Marvel right now, and that's not even counting what's going on with Majors right now. Secret Invasion isn't doing too well, Ant-Man floundered. Only GotG3 seems to had landed well.
Wonder how The Marvels will turn out next.

I wonder if they will treat each episode like an Anthology of sorts.
