Disney+ has released a 2023 preview video, with our first look at footage from Loki season 2 proving to be the biggest highlight!
In that, we catch up with Sylvie, see the God of Mischief back working with the TVA (which one remains to be seen following the season one finale), and what looks to be three Loki Variants donning tuxedos alongside Mobius. With any luck, this means a trailer is somewhere on the horizon, though the show isn't expected to return until next summer.
During D23, we learned that Loki season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw all return, while Kate Dickie and Ke Huy Quan have also joined the cast.
Elsewhere in this sneak peek, we see some familiar footage from Secret Invasion and The Mandalorian, and get what appears to be the first brief snippet from Ahsoka. Oh, and for Disney fans, we're sure some footage from Peter Pan & Wendy will be appreciated!
Finally, we can now confirm that, as expected, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever won't hit Disney+ until next year. While the usual 45-day theatrical window means the sequel should have hit the platform before Christmas, that's been extended in order to maximise box office revenue. As of right now, no official premiere date has been announced by the streamer.
2022 is winding down, but there's always time for at least one or two more trailers to be released. With that in mind, you'll want to stay tuned for updates over the holidays!
Check out the preview video below (we'd recommend the YouTube version as it isn't cropped down).
