LOKI Season 2 Set Video Shows God Of Mischief Battling An Invisible Foe And Big Hint About Mobius' Future

A new video from the set of Loki season 2 has been revealed that shows Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief battling an unseen foe, all while potentially offering a glimpse at what lies in store for Mobius.

Cameras are rolling on Loki season 2 ahead of its return to Disney+ next summer, and a new set video that's found its way online has definitely got fans talking.

As you can see, Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief has been spotted thrashing around and clearly acting opposite something or someone that will be added down the line with visual effects. We're still not sure what Loki is doing working for the TVA again or whether he's got no other choice after being stranded in another reality where that organisation is ruled over by a Kang Variant.

Either way, what's particularly interesting about this is that he's standing in front of a jet ski dealership. Remember, Mobius revealed his fixation with jet skis in season 1, so perhaps Loki is looking for his Variant prior to him being recruited by the TVA?

It's honestly impossible to say at this stage, but we should clearly brace ourselves for more big twists and turns. Loki season 2 will be released after Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania arrives in theaters, so we'd be shocked if Kang the Conqueror's story there doesn't somehow impact whatever comes next for this Asgardian anti-hero.

During this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Phases 4, 5, and 5 will be collectively known as The Multiverse Saga. Loki is clearly going to be a key part of that, especially as it was in his series that the Sacred Timeline branched out and recreated the Multiverse in the process.

With that in mind, there's a good chance that the God of Mischief will somehow factor into Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, though time will tell on that front.

I'm gonna be severely dissappointed if Mobius doesn't get to go on a jetski ride

Also, can't have a Loki not doing a hairflip it seems

I didn't like Loki. There were so many things wrong with the way they wrote THAT version of Loki. That Loki was the Loki right after the first Avengers movie. But he was written like if he was the Loki that just died by Thanos. Nope.
I love Loki and I hope he shows up in Thor 5 or some other movie. But these "tv series" are just filler for the movies. and some are bearable and some I couldn't finish.

Which lately even the movies have been very off in quality.

This is a pass for me.

I finally was able to watch "Severance" while on vacation. That was a great show.

@IMCOOLURNOT - it's like you didn't watch the Loki series. 2012 Loki had 7 years of his character's actions shown to him which made him reassess who he is and what his motives are. Variant Loki is a very changed person.

@tRuckRogers46A - I did watch it. Why else would I make such a statement.
Yes he was shown clips for the movies of the things he would have done. But it's one thing to do make, smell them, taste them.
And completely different to watch what you would have done on a projection screen.
One is life changing the other... I doubt it.
anyways. Just my opinion. :)

@IMCOOLURNOT - it was life changing though , he saw that everything he aspired to do ended up being for nothing and he realized it was pointless

@ShimmyShimmyYA - i know what they show. I just don't agree it would have happened like that. Just my opinion. Because like I said seeing the things and actually experiencing them are completely different.
