Cameras are rolling on Loki season 2 ahead of its return to Disney+ next summer, and a new set video that's found its way online has definitely got fans talking.
As you can see, Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief has been spotted thrashing around and clearly acting opposite something or someone that will be added down the line with visual effects. We're still not sure what Loki is doing working for the TVA again or whether he's got no other choice after being stranded in another reality where that organisation is ruled over by a Kang Variant.
Either way, what's particularly interesting about this is that he's standing in front of a jet ski dealership. Remember, Mobius revealed his fixation with jet skis in season 1, so perhaps Loki is looking for his Variant prior to him being recruited by the TVA?
It's honestly impossible to say at this stage, but we should clearly brace ourselves for more big twists and turns. Loki season 2 will be released after Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania arrives in theaters, so we'd be shocked if Kang the Conqueror's story there doesn't somehow impact whatever comes next for this Asgardian anti-hero.
During this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Phases 4, 5, and 5 will be collectively known as The Multiverse Saga. Loki is clearly going to be a key part of that, especially as it was in his series that the Sacred Timeline branched out and recreated the Multiverse in the process.
With that in mind, there's a good chance that the God of Mischief will somehow factor into Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, though time will tell on that front.
