LOKI Star Jonathan Majors Accused Of Physical And Emotional Abuse By Other Women

Loki and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors is facing a fresh round of allegations, including claims he was physically violent with at least two ex-girlfriends. Read on for details.

Last December, Loki star Jonathan Majors was found guilty on one count of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree by a New York jury following a March 2023 altercation with his then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Today, The New York Times has shared accounts from former girlfriends, work colleagues, and even crew members who have shared allegations of inappropriate and abusive behaviour.

During Majors' trial and a recent ABC News interview, the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star maintained that he had "never struck a woman." One former girlfriend, Emma Duncan, has now alleged that Majors was violent on multiple occasions between 2015 and 2019.

In a 2016 incident, it's said he choked her and "threw her body across the room," stating he was "going to make sure you can't have children."

Maura Hooper, meanwhile, claims she "was not allowed to speak to anyone about their relationship" and reveals that after falling pregnant (she dated Majors between 2013 - 2015), he dropped her off at an abortion clinic and didn't pick her up after the procedure was completed.

When they went their separate ways, Hooper alleges that Majors called her a "whore" on the phone and said, "I hope you die; kill yourself...I'm going to rip you out of my heart the way they ripped our baby out of you."

Majors is also said to have regularly threatened to kill himself during these relationships.

This report from the Times paints Majors as, "[a] controlling, threatening figure who isolated them from friends and career pursuits." It's based on interviews with 20 people and on statements submitted to the prosecution in his December case. The actor's lawyer has shared various denials, including one that describes the women in question as "toxic."

It's also said that Majors had a history of volatility on the set of HBO's Lovecraft Country, including confrontations with female co-workers that led them to complain to the cable network.

Majors will be sentenced in April; he faces up to a year behind bars but is unlikely to do jail time considering the fact this is a first offence.

Majors' star had been on the rise before his legal issues. He received widespread acclaim for his work in Creed III and was earning Oscar buzz for his role in Magazine Dreams. Searchlight has removed it from the calendar and it may never see the light of day. Marvel Studios later fired him as the MCU's Kang the Conqueror.

@Matador - I know some people praised his performance in that movie, but I didn’t like it. May not be his fault as I feel that Jordan wasn’t a good director. Even Adonis wasn’t depicted as well as the other two movies.

Besides Lovecraft Country, I can’t say I’ve really found him compelling in anything. He overacts.

@mountainman - To be fair I haven't seen any Rocky movies since Tommy Gunn.

I just thought it was poetic to combine his words.

@Matador - It was clever. Kudos to the reference. But even in the MCU, I haven’t been impressed with him as any of the Kang variants I’ve seen him as. He just feels like he’s doing too much to try to make the role unique and interesting. But it comes across as overacting to me.

@mountainman - So doing a Jim Carrey as the Riddler?

I haven't caught Wanda show, Loki, or Antman 3 yet or any other movies after Spider-Man 3: No Way Home after & Dr. Strange 2 after that went cold turkey.

His lawyer isn’t denying any of it. Not sure why you’re simping for someone who has proven time and time again he’s got serious issues.

@regularmovieguy - I'm just countering your point to which you say "His lawyer isn’t denying any of it." When the article clearly shows she's denying on behalf of her client some of those accounts.

That's all. No need for reciepts.

@UniqNo

Mr. Majors dropped her off at the clinic, where he was advised that Ms. Hooper would need an escort home, she said. But when she called him afterward to pick her up, he said he was heading to a rehearsal. Because she believed that Mr. Majors wouldn’t tolerate her discussing the situation with anyone, the statement says, she couldn’t call a friend; she feigned an escort and walked herself home. “I felt trapped and alone,” she said later in an interview with The Times.
Ms. Chaudhry said that because both Mr. Majors and Ms. Hooper were in the same show, they agreed they could not both miss the rehearsal, and that she would find her way home after the procedure. Ms. Hooper said they were not in the same show at the time.
“That deeply sad event is still a painful memory for Mr. Majors,” Ms. Chaudhry said.

———————————————

In February 2019, the statement says, he flipped a table and broke chairs in their apartment, and destroyed Ms. Duncan’s belongings and family heirlooms, during one of her many attempts to end things. Later that year, when she realized that Mr. Majors was continuing an affair, he “made a fist and stated, ‘Don’t make me punch you,’” the statement says. She left the relationship not long after.
His lawyer, Ms. Chaudhry, said that Mr. Majors denied making a fist or saying anything about punching or harming Ms. Duncan, and that he had “flipped his own flimsy fold-up table” during an incident.

Here are two of them right off the bat. Didn’t even include the character witness who got a threatening email/phone call from her office.

Anyone still defending this guy has a screw loose.

UniqNo - 2/9/2024, 9:34 AM
@regularmovieguy - Quite selective there, when you skip all the other accounts that his lawyer did infact deny. Again, I'm only showing your point to be incorrect or imcomplete.
regularmovieguy
regularmovieguy - 2/9/2024, 9:37 AM
@UniqNo

Please provide them. Not sure how many excuses need to make for either of these guys. I’m sure you thought the Rolling Stone report that came out where Chaudry was caught doctoring character statements was bs, too. 🫠
UniqNo
UniqNo - 2/9/2024, 9:39 AM
@regularmovieguy - heres one..

Ms. Chaudhry denied this account. “This did not happen,” she said, though she acknowledged that they “had many serious arguments.” She said that he is now “choosing to take responsibility for his own part in that toxic relationship, focusing on himself, and addressing his lifelong depression.”

Whether i agree or not isn't the point. My point is yoire factually incorrect.

But if you read it, you'd know

Don't know about that other 1. Didnt read it.
regularmovieguy
regularmovieguy - 2/9/2024, 9:42 AM
@UniqNo

lol. I read it last night. Thanks for the umpteenth example of Chaudry victim blaming. Probably the one incident in the report besides the threatening message from her office in which she actually denies it.

Props for her. If she can make suckers out of you she’s doing an okay job. 🤝🏻

@regularmovieguy - SIMPING!

You seemingly don't have an idea what that word means.

I have seen this setup/outcome TOO MANY TIMES to believe it now. This is a seemingly stereotypical story of kicking a man while he's down that I don't like seeing.

You comment what you want. Leave me be to do the same. The evidence shown should at MINIMUM have them both facing charges.

Until I see the evidence, Imma call 🧢.
regularmovieguy
regularmovieguy - 2/9/2024, 9:46 AM
@KennKathleen

Getting big incel vibes from this - not sure what more evidence you need than first hand accounts and clear patterns of abuse. Read the article, read the Rolling Stone article. It's not just coming from significant others but production assistants, crew members, acquaintances.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 2/9/2024, 9:47 AM
@regularmovieguy - No problem,

But, here's another one

"Nearly a year later, according to Ms. Duncan’s statement, he threw her to the ground and bruised her forehead with his; Ms. Chaudhry denied this. In April 2018, after Ms. Duncan was unavailable by phone for about 40 minutes while at a friend’s birthday party, Mr. Majors told her she should kill herself, she recalled."

Just to make it clear again, you said his lawyer isn't denying, when she clearly is on a few of those counts, whether you think it's victim blaming or not, she's denying...

So you're infact wrong, or just don't read very well.

That's all. 🙂

regularmovieguy - 2/9/2024, 9:57 AM

Bro you can debate semantics all day. I’m talking about the substance or lack thereof in her defense. Which is extremely transparent unless you rode the small bus to school.

I’ll never understand some of you.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 2/9/2024, 10:01 AM
@regularmovieguy - There's no need for debate, it's there in clear text.... what you said and what she's said to contradict what you said.

You're the one resorting to insults calling me a sucker etc...

I've not shared my opinion on that case in this thread...just pointing out the fact you're contradicting yourself... accept it and move on. Lol.
