LOKI: The God Of Mischief's Sexuality Was Finally Revealed In Today's Explosive Episode - SPOILERS

There's been a lot of speculation surrounding the God of Mischief's sexuality in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but today's episode of Loki finally shed some light on that in a big way. Check it out...

It's already been confirmed that the God of Mischief is genderfluid, but that wasn't something we've actually seen referenced in Loki itself. Instead, those working on the series - including Tom Hiddleston - have made it clear in interviews promoting the launch of the Disney+ series.

Well, the Marvel Cinematic Universe took another big step forward today in its attempts to accurately portray the world we live in by confirming that Loki is bisexual.

This big reveal came during a conversation with Sylvie which sees them discuss the meaning of love. They both ask whether the other has someone they're romantically involved with (we've never seen Loki with a love interest in the MCU), and it's then the God of Mischief confirms that he's loved men and women.

Director Kate Herron jumped on Twitter shortly after the latest episode of Loki arrived on Disney+ to say, "From the moment I joined [Loki] it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and [my] heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in [the] MCU."

This is a momentous moment, that's for sure, and one we're definitely excited to see elaborated on.

Not really that big of a suprise. I've been under the assumption he was bi or gay since TDW.

@HydraB0b - Loki's implicit "relationship" with The Grandmaster in Ragnarok made things very clear, to me at least. How Loki secured his status as the fair-haired boy on Sakaar was given away by those knowing glances between the two of them.

Knowing Norse Mythology, I think pansexual is the better word. But yeah, good for the people that want to see them self reflected in it get the confirmation

I think "omnisexual" is the better term. He sees all and lays all. Which, you know, a pretty common theme in various pantheons. Not like Hera turning one of Zeus' girls into a cow stopped him.

@Reeds2Much - yeah okay I guess it would be. I don't really all the terms nowadays, but I know Pantheon Gods have a wide arrange of things they like to [frick]

Why is the sexual nature of characters always breaking news

Lol. I don't understand why this is a big deal. I think it makes it harder to normalize when it gets this type of attention. I didn't even give it a second thought. I have always thought it would make sense for Loki since the beginning.
