LOKI's Season 2 Premiere Has A Must-See Post-Credits Scene With Ties To THOR Comic Books - SPOILERS

Yes, Loki's season 2 finale does indeed have a post-credits scene and it's one which reunites with a familiar face from the past. Find out what happens, and how it ties to the comic books, after the jump!

Marvel Studios has made post-credits scenes a staple of its movies and TV shows, and today's Loki season 2 premiere is no exception. While we weren't expecting anything extra once this opening episode concluded, you'll definitely want to make sure you stick around.

The stinger takes us to Broxton, Oklahoma in the early 1980s to a McDonald's fast food restaurant. We see Sylvie arrive after leaving He Who Remains' Citadel at the End of Time and, as this appears to be a branched timeline, we'd guess the plan is for her to make a home for herself there.

For now, though, she just wants something to eat! However, she also seems legitimately happy to be free of the TVA and is keen to start a new life.

Of course, various promos have confirmed that Sylvie ends up working in this McDonald's and that the God of Mischief eventually tracks her down. What we don't know right now is how she ends up in the future right as Loki is pruned and saved from being torn apart by time. Hopefully, answers are coming.

This scene is also significant due to the fact it takes place in Broxton, a location fans of the Thor comic books will be very familiar with.

After the God of Thunder's rebirth, he recreated the City of Asgard close to the town and made it a new home to the Asgardians for some time. He later raised it to float a few feet above the ground and paid for the land with some Asgardian treasure, though it was destroyed during the events of Siege.

What did you think about the Loki season 2 premiere?

Loki season 2 will pick up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

The series stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan and Owen Wilson.

Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani direct episodes. The Head Writer is Eric Martin.

Loki season 2 begins streaming on October 5, exclusively on Disney+.

There's nothing "must see" about this show.

@Fogs - I don't mean to insult you but damn, raise your standards, at least a little, there was a time when actual good came from the MCU.

@HashTagSwagg - I respect your opinion.

But I liked Loki S1 and this 1st S2 episode. And I never thought I'd like it, it sounded like a dumb idea to have a series about him to begin with. I don't really think it's a matter of standards tbh.

Broxton, OK?

Maybe we’ll see that fry cook Bill and his Asgardiam girlfriend Kelda?

@OptimusPrime114 - We can't see a Loki that acts anything like Loki, but you expect these hack creators to include two obscure characters from a b-plot in a story from 2007 comics? Yeah, sure.

Amazing... A name-drop of something in the comics... in a show that does anything but stay true to the comics. (Who the [frick] is Sylvia and in what comics did she appear in, can anyone tell me?)

[frick] off, MCU. Also, the first Thor already ''adapted'' the plot (loosely) of JMS Thor run. That was as close as we were gonna get to that comic run in movies. Maybe, perhaps, if Thor Ragnajoke was actually Thor Ragnarok, and like the comics was dark and had all of Asgardians fall in a deadly battle, to be then rebirthed on earth, and Thor would build The New Asgard in New Mexico because that's the place of his rebirth in the first movie, we could see that story expanded. Otherwise, trash gonna be trash.

Still try to understand why they are making good story with Loki but shit on Thor with poop stories making him like a clown..

I guess Thor is too much of a toxic man as per today’s society for shitDisney

@RevanOfKrypton - This is a great point with a very bad reasoning. "Too toxic for today's society." This just makes no sense. You really should've just left it as the first sentence.

I was wondering, since she chose Broxton, if it will be a place that she is still hiding and there is an eventual catastrophic event there?
