Well, with only ten episodes ordered, it looks like we're nearly halfway through the freshmen season of Marvel's Runaways and next week's fifth installment is shaping up to be quite the doozy of an hour as the team scrambles across town to find their missing leader, Alex Wilder.

Meanwhile, in the midst of their latest mission, it sounds like they'll also be learning a lot more about themselves and their collective pasts while Alex, on his own journey, uncovers some hidden secrets about his father.

After their not-so-fearless leader is taken, our kids spring into action. Alex discovers long-buried secrets about his dad, as the kids uncover new truths about themselves.

Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? “Marvel’s Runaways” is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents. The Hulu original series is based on the Marvel comics created by the award- team of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona. The book series has won an Eisner, a Harvey and was featured as one of the Young Adult Library Services Association’s best books for young adults.

Only watched the first two episodes so far. I liked them, although the show does seem to stray from the comics a bit more than I'd expected. Still pretty solid entertainment, though probably not for everyone.

Such a slow start. Was like "wtf" about 100 times in the first episode. Love the comic but they added so much unnecessary drama before they meet up. This teen drama CW nonsense needs to reeaallyy get going or im tuning out.

I've not read the comics, so I have no frame of reference of how it should be in comparison, but I'm enjoying it. Kind of getting a Veronica Mars meets MCU vibe from it, which I'm very much into.

I personally have really enjoyed this show. For those complaining about too much angst...you do realize that it's a show about 6 highschoolers trying to balance their personal lives with solving a mystery, right? It actually feels like an appropriate thematic choice. I'm enjoying the overall mystery. Even though we all know who the culprits are from the very first episode, the fun is figuring out all the other pieces.

And that dinosaur is pretty awesome.
