THE GIFTED: New Photos From Season 1, Episode 7: "eXtreme measures" & "Episode 8: "threat of eXtinction"
As we barrel toward the midseason finale, FOX has released over thirty-five new promotional stills from episodes 7 & 8 of The Gifted's freshman season, teasing a number of interesting developments.
With only one more episode until the November 20th midseason finale, it really looks like things are starting to heat up on The Gifted.
First up, on this Monday's installment, we'll see Eclipse embark on a dangerous mission with his former flame, Carmen, while back at the homefront, Reed and Sage will uncover a shocking secret about Lauren's new friend. Meanwhile, Thunderbird will attempt to mend fences with Blink and learn more about her past in the process.
Then, in the midseason finale, Reed will pay a visit to his estranged father, where he learns more about his family's troubled past, something that may just help him protect his children's future. Plus, Pulse returns and complicates the Mutant Underground's latest mission.

Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
