WHAT IF...? - Here Are The Returning MCU Actors From Today's Penultimate Episode (And Who Was Recast)

Today's epic episode of What If...? set the stage for a massive finale, but which actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe reprised their roles in the animated series, and was James Spader among them?

We now have just one episode of What If...? remaining, and it looks like the stage has been set for the Guardians of the Multiverse to finally assemble. After paying a visit to the "Age of Ultron," things definitely escalated in this reality, but how many familiar voices from the Marvel Cinematic Universe were included in "What If...Ultron Won?"

Jeffrey Wright was obviously given a much bigger role as The Watcher, but the cast of this penultimate episode was otherwise relatively small.

Jeremy Renner returned as Hawkeye, while he was joined by Toby Jones as Arnim Zola. Benedict Cumberbatch, meanwhile, was back as the Strange Supreme iteration of Doctor Strange, but that was it in terms of MCU actors. Black Widow was once again voiced by Lake Bell, and the Harley Quinn star continues to prove herself every bit as good as Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff.

Josh Keaton voiced Steve Rogers/Captain America, while Mick Wingert returned as Tony Stark/Iron Man, as did Alexandra Daniels as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel.

However, while Ultron might have gained The Vision's body, the villain didn't have his voice. Avengers: Age of Ultron star James Spader didn't play the character, either; instead, Ross Marquand (who stars in The Walking Dead and played Red Skull in the last two Avengers movies) brought the powerful villain to life. He definitely sounded like Spader, but wasn't quite a perfect match.

What did you guys think of today's penultimate episode of What If...?
