Netflix finally released a full trailer for Cowboy Bebop earlier this week, and the streamer has now followed-up with a series of character posters featuring the main heroes and villains of the highly-anticipated anime adaptation.
The recent trailer did a great job of recapturing the vibe of the fan-favorite anime, as we saw Spike Spiegel (John Cho) bid farewell to his old life as a member of the Red Dragon crime syndicate to begin his new career as a bounty hunter (or, cowboy) alongside Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir) and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) - who he takes an instant dislike to.
The crew are spotlighted here, along with adorable Data Dog Ein and Alex Hassel as Vicious, a ruthless former colleague of Spike's who holds a grudge against his one-time friend.
Check out the new banners below along with the trailer, and let us know if you plan on giving Cowboy Bebop a go when it hits Netflix on November 19.
"Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka cowboys, all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them."
We recently learned that anime composer Yoka Kano, who has worked on the likes of Vision of Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, Turn A Gundam, Macross Plus, and more, created the soundtrack.
Cowboy Bebop is exec produced and written by Christopher Yost (Thor), who also serves as showrunner along with Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio; Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios; Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, and Shin Sasaki of Sunrise Inc. Watanabe is on board as a consultant.
