CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA: Check Out Some Photos From The Upcoming Christmas Special

In news none of us saw coming, it was revealed earlier this week that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is getting a Christmas special, and now the first official images from the episode have been released...

It's fair to say that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina exceeded expectations and the news that we're getting a Christmas Special was definitely welcomed by fans. That will air on Netflix on December 14th and is titled "A Midwinter's Tale."

The first season was made up of ten episodes and left fans anxious for more; it's widely thought that the next ten may have already been shot but the online streaming service is simply holding off on releasing them (similar to the way Star Trek: Discovery's release was staggered on CBS All Access).

Now, a new gallery of images from this special episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been released and you can check them out below by clicking on the "View List" button.

Sabrina went through quite a transformation during the finale, so it's going to be very interesting seeing how she's changed in this special and whether her mortal side is already beginning to fade.

Harvey wasn't happy to learn just how many secrets Sabrina had been keeping from him, and it doesn't look as if he's overly happy seeing the changes that his ex-girlfriend has gone through, either.

Aunt Hilda may have initially pushed Sabrina into accepting her future as a witch but she softened on her niece as the first season progressed - though she certainly doesn't look happy about something here.

Prudence may have started off as an enemy to Sabrina but they grew close over the first ten episodes and were allies by the time all was said and done. Will that continue in this special, though?

It wasn't until the finale that we learned what Madam Satan has planned for Sabrina and it's clear now that this show is going to take the young witch to some unexpected places moving forward.

Things were also looking up for Ambrose by the time the finale rolled around and with him almost certainly set to have a new status quo in season two, this holiday special will lay the groundwork.

Zelda got a new job (and her own bedroom) when we last saw her, so don't be surprised if that story arc continues to play out...even if she does appear to be busy making Christmas cookies!

Susie's story arc took a weird turn when she started communicating with a ghost and while she seems happy here, we know that she's having some serious doubts about her friend Sabrina.

Started watching and it was off to a good start but then they began a rant about white misogyny.
Buh-bye.
