CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA: Beth Broderick & Caroline Rhea To Return As The Original Aunts Zelda & Hilda

Well, it looks like CAOS - Part 4 will have its fair share of surprises, as it's been revealed today that both Beth Broderick and Caroline Rhea will reprise their roles as the original Aunts Zelda & Hilda.

Netflix has shared a first look clip from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - Part 4, offering a sneak preview at some of the topsy-turvy witchcraft fans can expect from the final eight episodes, as Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) faces her biggest challenge yet, The Eldritch Terrors. But as she gets deeper into that mystery, she'll also notice something hilariously off with her two favorite aunts.

In a welcome surprise, both Beth Broderick and Caroline Rhea will reprise their original Sabrina the Teenage Witch roles as Aunt Zelda and Aunt Hilda, respectively, in episode fifteen; a fun-filled installment where Sabrina looks to be caught up in an alternate reality of sorts.

There's no sign of Melissa Joan Hart, who famously played the original teenage witch in the hit '90s series, but with her aunties set to show up in the final season's penultimate chapter, fans will have to hold out hope that the original Sabrina Spellman may also make a surprise appearance opposite her small-screen successor.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns for its final eight episodes on December 31.

Over the course of Part 4’s eight episodes, The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness, to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things.

As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart. But will it be too late? We’ll find out starting December 31, the premiere date on Netflix.

Damn. The concept of a Multi-Verse seems to be the next big things for shows & movies. You have to love how comic book movies and shows have pioneered the industry with the bold ideas. CW made the Multi-Verse capable on the small screen and Marvel is going to kill it in both the big and small screen. Now other franchises are following the trend.

I hate all these soulless crossovers and multiverse ideas. It really seems like this is the new trend. They all lack HART.

Watched a few episodes of the orignal in the mid 2000’s, fun stuff. Lost interest in this series after the second season.

Always cool to see classic cameos though. If it hadnt gotten canceled maybe the original sabrina would have shown up.

They've aged pretty well, what a nice throwback to the OG show, I look forward to seeing it.

The show is coming to an end. I suppose they can pull out all the stops. I have a small feeling Hart will make an appearance as well, but hopefully they will keep it under wraps until the episode (if it does happen) actually broadcasts. Regardless sorry to see it come to and end.

Rumor has it that Jason David Frank will reprise his role as Tommy the White Ranger from Power Rangers in Spiderman 3.

In regards to HART,

She won't do it. She's like SUPER Christian now and regrets making her old shows. Her last role was the lead in God's Not Dead 2. She played a teacher, who went to court in a situation that.... Yeah no wouldn't happen. It's not nor has it ever been illegal to tell your students I believe in Jesus. She's not coming back
