The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creator and executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has shared a set image to Twitter, giving us a first look at Kiernan Shipka’s (Mad Men, The Blackcoat's Daughter) new take on the teenage witch.

In the scene, Sabrina steps out for a stroll with long-time love interest Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch). Aguirre-Sacasa also added the caption: “Well, it’s out there. A 1st look at Harvey and Sabrina from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. ADORBS, right?”

The upcoming series was originally envisioned as a tie-in to The CW’s Riverdale, but plans changed when Netflix took over distribution.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will also star Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell/Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle and Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood.

What do you think of our first glimpse of Shipka in the role?

@MNLawyer

TASM series was a mess....but goddammit did I believe in Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield as a couple. They were [frick]ing awesome together and sold the romance.

@regularmovieguy - Because at the time they were dating in real life.

Yeah, I get that. Still one of the better CBM romances imo.

@regularmovieguy - Totally, their chemistry (to me) was one of the best things about those two ASM films.

It's a shame because I'd really like to see Emma Stone have another chance at Gwen. She would kill as Spider-Gwen.

@L0RDbuckethead

She was soooo good. Those movies would’ve been a lot better had they negated the high school origin story.

Could’ve been a yo-pro Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.

Oh man, I can't wait for this. It's time for a new live action version of Sabrina. Trust me, when this premieres:

My avi will be Sabrina-related, I'm gonna binge watch it, and probably re-read some Sabrina comics.

We honestly need to be bombarded with Sabrina in pop culture. Video games, movies, the whole nine. Give me moooooreeee.

They do look cute.

I'm actually looking forward to this following just how much fun I had with RIVERDALE.

Honestly, I was very surprised with that show. I didn't expect it to be as wonderfully bonkers, melodramatic and homoerotic as it was. It's heavenly trash.

@FromACertainPOV - I kinda like season 2 for the killer, but apart from that, I couldn’t get into it.

Like the actors though.

I hope it’s good, but the direction they are taking it makes it seem like a direct Riverdale crossover may be hard, maybe more subtle stuff can happen at least

If this in any way, shape, or form leads to anything resembling AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE then I am 100% in.

Kiernan Shipka looks like my girlfriend from high school. And I don't need that kind of weird nostalgia haunting me right now.

I'll check this show out, solely because Kiernan was great in Mad Men. She'll always be Sally Draper to me.

First thing I thought when I saw the picture was "Another Riverdale knockoff," and then I found out that they were related. Can we not get teen shows anymore that aren't like that?
