The last two feature-length episodes of Stranger Things season 4, Volume II hit Netflix on July 1st, delivering a final(?) confrontation between our beleaguered heroes and the malevolent creature known as Vecna.
The powerful big bad once known as Henry Creel appeared to be bested by a combination of Eleven's psychic attack and Nancy's prowess with a shotgun in the Upside Down version of the Creel House, but we know it'll take more than that to vanquish Vecna, and the villain is expected to return for the fifth and final season which is scheduled to begin shooting very soon.
The humanoid take on Vecna we saw in the show was pretty horrifying to behold, but these early concept designs from artist Michael Maher Jr. are arguably even more monstrous and terrifying.

Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. “In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
