You guys ready for this? DOAKES IS THE BRAIN SURGEON!

Here's my theory:

Doakes used to be in a relationship with Dr. Vogel, she was the woman he was talking about in season 2 when he said “If I didn’t leave her, I would have killed her.” He survived the explosion and went mad because he was the only one who knew about Dexter, and it got him fired, imprisoned, blown up, and in the end, made out to be a psychotic serial killer. The burnt and mutilated body they found in the river was one of the cartel guys that hung out around that cabin. Doakes is back in Miami to torment the woman who kept analyzing him due to his intense war experiences, the psychopath who imprisoned and framed him, and the police department that wouldn’t listen to him.

*minds blown* :)

@ MAC I agree the first three seasons were awesome. And this final season started off great but until last night, well who knows maybe there will be a big twist that will pay off.

The only thing I always cracked up is, why are there so many serial killers in Florida?

@ MAC

That theory is freakin hilarious! I think the final scene should be Dexter screwing his sister and he finds out she is a serial killer!

My theory is this, Vogels son is the brain surgeon and it turns out that Dexter is the being hunted!

It sucks that they killed Zach though, I liked his character a lot. I wouldn't have minded if he got a spin off.

Breaking Bad is great, Dexter was great until season 4.5.

True Blood is a freakin joke!

I think this season and last season are good, but nothing compared to seasons 1,2, & 4. 3,5,& 6 were shit, except for the episode in season 6 "Nebraska" where Brian comes back.

Strahovski's one sexy Aussie.

I stopped watching Dexter after season 5 ended. The whole Lumen romance was just too stupid and unrealistic - she'd just gotten out of a dungeon where she was gang-raped countless times for at least a year (I forget the duration)... and then she's back to normal after they've killed all of her captors? And she sleeps with Dexter...

Gimme a break. It was actually looking pretty good - I HATED Rita, and I was pretty happy with the season 4 finale, but damn, this show just took a dive.
--

True Blood - heh. I confess, I still watch it. I've read almost all of the books, and lemme tell you, the first season was VERY close to the first novel, and added a few things like Jessica for fun.

Second season took some liberties, but overall still stuck with the story and the characters, even though Mary Ann is only in two chapters and has no connection with Sam.

Third season expanded a lot of the roles of the characters, introduced some stuff that goes on in later books (Franklin, the fae, Bill's secret), but with the exception (which I didn't mind) of Russell going bonkers, it was spot on.

Fourth season tried too hard with the witches, pulls voodoo out of its ass, Bill is the freakin king of Louisiana, and Sookie has been to Faery...

Fifth season didn't even try - the only thing similar was the shifter shootings, although that was supposed to have been done by a rogue vampire; Alcide's story gets all the more chewed up, and Quinn is nowhere to be found. The Authority is WAY WAY over-played, and Lilith is something they pulled out of their ass, same with the fire demon thing...

Sixth season looked like it was getting better, although not following any story in particular - it did take a couple of ideas from other books - Sookie being promised to a fae, Niall was mostly on point, but it was really just clean-up.

When it takes an entire 10 episodes to clean up after the mess the fifth season left it in... damn.

This is by far one of the worst final seasons of any show I have ever watched. I love this show so its a shame to see it go out like this....I'm guessing the person behind all these kills is the doctor it has to be her it really has been a no brainer from day one.

It's Vogel; the only reason she tolerates mass-murderers in her home is to learn from them. And I bet that Gosling clone is her underling, whether it be son/NEW DEXTER.

She's been taking traits from all serial killers, and conditioning that Gosling clone so he becomes the best of the best. BEST AT FAKING EMOTIONS, BEST AT LYING, BEST AT KILLING, BEST AT GATHERING EVIDENCE.

It's obviously Tom Matthews. He introduced Vogel to Harry. He's the one that invited Vogel to join a case that had nothing to do with her just so she could meet Dexter. He tried to get LaGuerta off Dexter's ass. He tried to get Quinn off Zach's ass. Don't forget that he Killed a Hooker a couple of seasons ago and tried to get Deb to back down.

I remember the first few seasons used to leave my stomach in knots! I still enjoy the show but it's definitely run it's course and probably should have wrapped up a couple seasons ago. I got a feeling the Brain Surgeon is going to end up being Deb...or maybe Quinn? Or someone from the way back that we just haven't thought of yet. Back to torment Dex and everyone who helped him become who he is. Maybe it's his dad who never really killed himself and feels so much guilt for what he helped create. Ok...I'm reaching.

@Joe I've thought that same thing. Why so mad Miami? That's a ton of killers!
