Star Wars Rebels put the spotlight on The Ghost's crew members, making them all fan-favourite characters in the progress. With the franchise now expanding courtesy of Disney+, they're all stepping back into the spotlight, albeit in live-action.
In Wednesday's episode of The Mandalorian, Steve Blum reprised the role of Zeb, while the upcoming Ahsoka series will star Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and, though it hasn't been confirmed, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla.
Now, new details about this year's Star Wars LEGO sets have been revealed (via SFFGazette.com) and we're sure many of you will be excited to learn that an updated version of The Ghost is heading our way.
The original set has become a hot commodity among LEGO collectors and is now only available on eBay for prices that make even that massive Millennium Falcon look cheap!
This version is going to launch on September 1 for $169.99 and will clock in at 1394 pieces. Based on the ship's appearance in Ahsoka (confirming we'll see The Ghost in live-action), it's bundled with five minifigures.
As the site notes, we'll get "Hera, Chopper, the Mon Calamari mechanic Quarrie, also known from Rebels, Hera's son Jacen and a previously unknown male character with dark skin."
Quarrie was the Mon Calamari who built a prototype B-wing starfighter on the remote planet Shantipole sometime after the Siege of Lothal, and we're a little surprised to learn he'll be part of this show. Jacen, meanwhile, is the son of Hera and fallen Jedi Kanan Jarrus, leading us to believe he'll be a key character here...and likely strong in the Force.
LEGO fans can also look forward to a Venator Star Destroyer based on the ship's appearance in the final season of The Clone Wars. However, that will be part of the UCS range and will retail for $649.99!
Ahsoka is set to be released on Disney+ later this year, with more details expected to be shared during Star Wars Celebration next weekend.
