Yesterday, we brought you some big spoilers about Reva's role in the Obi-Wan Kenobi finale, and we now have some additional details on how her story ends. As the headline suggests, it involves Darth Vader, proving once and for all that Anakin Skywalker may be his own worst enemy.
Returning to the Sith Inquisitor's base with the knowledge that Anakin's son, Luke, is on Tatooine, Reva kneels before her Master and claims to have killed Obi-Wan. With that, poor Reva ends up being struck down by the Sith Lord. He doesn't believe her lies, and knows that his former Master couldn't be so easily killed (especially after failing to do so himself three times over the years).
Vader knows Obi-Wan is still alive out there, but little does he realise that by killing Reva, he's robbed himself of being able to find out he has a son who is living on the same planet he once called home. Needless to say, had Vader not acted so hastily and cruelly, he might have found Luke as a child and been able to overthrow Emperor Palpatine and rule the Galaxy with his son.
Back on Tatooine, Obi-Wan sees the Force Ghost of his old Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, and asks what took him so long to appear. Qui-Gon says he's been with Obi-Wan this whole time, and we're assuming they spend the next decade training so "Ben" can one day allow himself to be struck down by Vader and become more powerful than his one-time Padawan could ever possibly imagine.
Obi-Wan Kenobi's first two episodes arrive on Disney+ on May 27!
