OBI-WAN KENOBI Will Reportedly Feature A Post-Credits Scene - Here Are The Spoilery Details!

It's hardly a spoiler to point out that Darth Vader will be part of Obi-Wan Kenobi, especially as Hayden Christensen's return was confirmed by Lucasfilm fairly early on. The Sith Lord is obviously a character who needs no introduction, but that doesn't mean the Disney+ series won't deliver a cool opening moment for the iconic villain's first live-action appearance since 2016's Rogue One.

According to Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com), we'll see Vader make his return in a post-credits scene at the end of the second episode. After "Ben" Kenobi races into action to rescue the young Princess Leia, he embraces the Force for the first time since the end of Revenge of the Sith.

In the stinger, we come across a Bacta Tank. Inside the murky water is a mysterious figure, and with that, Anakin's twisted eye comes into focus as Vader senses this shift in the Force.

Clearly, he's finally felt the presence of his old Master, and it will be this that prompts the former Jedi to head back into action in a quest to finally take revenge on the man he believes betrayed him (of course, Vader has something of a legitimate gripe after Obi-Wan left him to burn on Mustafar). The expectation is that we'll see at least two battles between the former allies, so it sounds like we'll be getting a lot of Vader.

It was recently confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on Disney+ on May 27 with two episodes, so a post-credits scene like this is the perfect way to create buzz online!

Star Wars should not have post credit scenes. Leave that to CBM.

Why can't they put these before the credits?

That pic of Obi-Wan with the Jedi poster behind him looks like they're paying homage to the X-Men Days of future Past comic cover.

Possible spoilers I heard from the guy who made my egg sandwich this morning:

Obi-Wan will learn how to make Tusken Raider sounds.

Obi-Wan will have Anakin’s….sorry… Rey’s lightsaber hidden in a box.

Obi-Wan will survive the events of this series only to perish at the hands of Vader some 10ish years later in a rematch on something called the Death Star.

Take these with a few grains of salt like I did my egg sandwich.

See this is what smart character motivation looks like. Rather than just shutting himself off from the Force a la Luke in a whiny 7 year fit, Ben shuts himself off from the Force because HE CANT LET VADER OR ANYONE DISCOVER HIS LOCATION BECAUSE LUKE

Haven't heard many rumors lately about a Commander Cody return, unless I missed them. Wonder if that'll be a thing, or if a return like that would be better suited for something like Bad Batch.
