The reviews are in for The Mandalorian season 3 and that means the Disney+ series has an all-important Rotten Tomatoes score. Two episodes were provided to critics in advance of the show's launch (literally just a few hours before it dropped), but this first wave of verdicts has resulted in a flawless 100% score.
There's a good chance this will change in the coming days, of course, but we can't imagine it going too much lower based on the steller first and second instalments.
Heading into season 3, we couldn't help but wonder whether some critics might turn on The Mandalorian. After all, the premise of the show has changed greatly and it's being released in the wake of Andor, a series consistently praised by some for being better than this one! Thankfully, Din Djarin and Grogu's adventures together remain beloved.
"Still the best Star Wars TV show, The Mandalorian returns with everything fans love about the franchise and plenty of hints that this will be the most thrilling and revealing season yet," we concluded in our review earlier today. "We’re ready for that Bo-Katan Kryze spin-off."
With this news comes a new gallery of stills from The Mandalorian (via SFFGazette.com) highlighting a number of key moments from "The Apostate," including that tense exchange with Bo-Katan Kryze.
There's also the expected level of Grogu cuteness!
The Mandalorian's season 3 premiere included a surprise nod to Star Wars Rebels that you can read about by clicking here. We've also broken down how Cara Dune is written out of the series (find that here) and details on the unexpected return of a fan-favourite character are here.
