THE MANDALORIAN: The Armorer Rumored To Undergo Some Big Changes As Season 3 Continues - Possible SPOILERS

It's fair to say The Mandalorian season 3 hasn't necessarily played out in the way we expected, with the focus often shifting to characters and locations we didn't anticipate being this central to the Disney+ series. That's proved to be far from a bad thing, however, and many fans are now demanding a spin-off focusing on Bo-Katan Kryze!

The Armorer is someone who has long intrigued us as well, and she's also become a much bigger part of The Mandalorian this year.

Now, a new rumour shared by Star Wars Time (via SFFGazette.com) reveals that the leader of the Children of the Watch is about to receive quite the upgrade.

According to the site, the unnamed character will don a jetpack and blasters at some sort of big ceremony that involves other Mandalorians. It sounds like a celebratory event, and one which will also see a number of foundlings - including Paz Vizsla's son, Ragnar - receive their own armour.

Like many of you, we'd love to see more of The Armorer in action, but it sounds an awful lot like this sequence is from a much later point in season 3 (potentially even the finale). Still, these changes for the character certainly bode well for her future in this Galaxy Far, Far Away.

During a recent interview, actress Emily Swallow opened up on what she knows about The Armorer's backstory.

"There are some specific details I have learned about some of the history of the Mandalorians and how she fits into that. I don’t think there’s much that I’ve learned beyond what’s revealed in this season. It’s been helpful not to try to pin it down too much, because, based on what I know about her so far, it’s more interesting (not knowing) and it serves the story better."

What are your hopes for The Armorer in the rest of The Mandalorian's third season? As always, head to the comments section below to chime in with your thoughts.

This series has been great.

So we can be sure the mouse will milk it with too many seasons & spin offs to count until they kill it.

Baby-toy Grogu worked great for marketing in season 1 & 2 but now that they're getting him to move more and have a bigger visibility, the props are not working for me... that scene with the other boy and the paintballs was weird, felt like someone throwing a puppet in the air.... I'd expect them to move to CGI, at least for some scenes, soon...

@Starlight - Yeah, agreed. As much as I love Grogu, the novelty really is wearing off and the effects are getting distracting. I really wish he had stayed with Luke, at least for a little while. I will never understand why they reversed 2 whole seasons of build-up in the span of an episode and a half in a completely DIFFERENT [frick]ing show?!

Was there seriously no other way to keep the Grogu merch sales flowing? Could we not make "Grogu cameos" in other spin-offs a selling point? Did they think Din Djarin wasn't an interesting enough character on his own? I'd give my left kidney to see the version of this show where Mando had to spend at least a season trying to find his purpose again after losing his son.

Feels like the creative team has been pulling their punches recently TBH. 😕

@Starlight - this is the same franchise that has a cgi Luke running around, we sadly have to get use to this stupid sh*t if we want to enjoy newer star wars.

@Starlight - Agreed. They could’ve at least had Grogu stay with Luke long enough to have a growth spurt or something so that he’s CGI or at least a better puppet. Or if they absolutely had to bring him back immediately a time jump might’ve helped.

But no, they’re too afraid of losing the Baby Yoda puppet merch that they haven’t realized it isn’t working anymore. How could they have watched any of that and thought it looked good? Blows my mind.

Okay I'm a noob in star wars.... Don't know how the babies are made in that fictional world...

If Mandalorians are not supposed to take off their helmet after initiation, Their love making sessions would be really unpleasant, right? Can't even imagine awkwardness.
