With Legends of Tomorrow once again airing Thursdays at 8:00pm, this means Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will all kick off with a DCTV show.

As a new school year begins, the town of Riverdale is reeling from the recent, tragic death of high school golden boy Jason Blossom — and nothing feels the same… Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) is still the all-American teen, but the summer’s events made him realize that he wants to pursue a career in music — not follow in his dad’s footsteps—despite the sudden end of his forbidden relationship with Riverdale’s young music teacher, Ms. Grundy (Sarah Habel). Which means Archie doesn’t have anyone who will mentor him — certainly not singer Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray), who is only focused on her band, the soon-to-be-world-famous Pussycats.

It’s all weighing heavily on Archie’s mind — as is his fractured friendship with budding writer and fellow classmate Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse). Meanwhile, girl-next-door Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) is anxious to see her crush Archie after being away all summer, but she’s not quite ready to reveal her true feelings to him. And Betty’s nerves – which are hardly soothed by her overbearing mother Alice (Mädchen Amick) aren’t the only thing holding her back. When a new student, Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), arrives in town from New York with her mother Hermione (Marisol Nichols), there’s an undeniable spark between her and Archie, even though Veronica doesn’t want to risk her new friendship with Betty by making a play for Archie. And then there’s Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch)… Riverdale’s Queen Bee is happy to stir up trouble amongst Archie, Betty, and Veronica, but Cheryl is keeping secrets of her own. What, exactly, is she hiding about the mysterious death of her twin brother, Jason? Riverdale may look like a quiet, sleepy town, but there are dangers in the shadows…

Just keep Martian Manhunter on the show.

(Wishful thinking)

@MattBellissimo - He was awesome and the effects were spot on for him. They should have one of Kara's villains do something that brings National City (and the Supergirl cast) to the Flarrowverse. That would explain why there is no Superman (he's on another Earth) and they can mine more story out of Kara trying to win over the people on this new world again.

@Buckster10 - Yeah... I don't see it happening any other way, but I'm very interested to see how they handle the transition after establishing she's in an alternate universe. I don't expect much of her supporting cast to make the jump with her.

@MattBellissimo - Take everyone BUT Flockheart. I know she has her fans, but to me Kat is way too over the top.

@Buckster10 - i really hated her at first, and sometimes still do, but i actually think she's fairly integral to Kara's character development

@Earth2SpecialKa - Good point, but they really need to tone her down.

@Kadara - Say what you will about the overall quality of some of the writing, but the fact that the CW has been able to grow this much is pretty impressive.

@sixthsense - Maybe when Supernatural closes shop, Constantine could emerge in its place.

@LordBritish - that's why I think CW passed one Constatine, Supernatural is like Constatine with Brothers it would of been to much to have two shows so similar that have nothing to do with each other once Supernatural is over and it has to be soon I could see Constatine again and Friday at 10pm is the worst time slot no one is staying up

I wasn't able to watch the 1st season of Supergirl because I just use an apple TV and couldn't get CBS. Not on Hulu either.

I hope the second season is friendly to newcomers who missed season one.
