After her bloody debut last week, we finally got a chance to learn more about the creature that's been keeping Damon & Enzo under her thumb ever since the season seven finale.

Her name is Sybil and while it hasn't been explicitly stated, it's been heavily implied she's a Siren who may have direct ties to the Devil himself. Next week's episode will see Enzo continue to struggle fighting Sybil's influence while Bonnie will find herself in the middle of a deadly game, which forces her to make a heartbreaking decision. Meanwhile, Alaric discovers something that may hold the key to rescuing Damon & Enzo and the downward spiralling, humanity-less Damon runs into Tyler. Check out the new extended promo below:

“You Decided That I Was Worth Saving”— (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

BONNIE’S CHOICE — As Enzo (Michael Malarkey) continues to fight the control over him, Bonnie (Kat Graham) finds herself at the center of a deadly game and forced to make a heart wrenching decision involving two of the most important people in her life. At the Armory, Alaric (Matt Davis) researches a mysterious artifact that he hopes will help in their fight to get Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo back. Finally, Damon’s downward spiral leads him to Tyler Lockwood (guest star Michael Trevino) who attempts to talk some sense into him before it’s too late. Paul Wesley and Candice King also star. Michael Karasick directed the episode written by Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux (#803). Original airdate 11/4/2016.

Get ready for more epic thrills and romance in the seventh season of The Vampire Diaries. Damon will do whatever it takes to take down his mother and her band of Heretics, and Enzo will struggle with where his loyalties lie. Dear Diary,

Should I watch The Vampire Diaries? I can't tell the difference between it and the Originals. It sort of looks like True Blood, but I'm pretty sure there won't be nudity... That's probably a dealbreaker for me... Thanks for listening, love you lots.

Sincerely, Spock0Clock

P.S. Sorry I keep you in my secret drawer with my assorted bondage gear.

Why do you even make articles about this show? It's not comicbook related in the slightest. Pretty funny that you have it labeled as horror too.
