Another of Alan Moore's most celebrated works could be joining HBO's upcoming Watchmen adaptation on the small screen.

According to Bleeding Cool's sources, Channel 4 is developing a TV series based on Moore and David Lloyd's V For Vendetta, which revolves around a masked man determined to bring down a tyrannical government.

The material was previously adapted as a feature starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving, and although it was generally well received, many fans of the far more complex comic series felt it missed the mark.
