VENOM 3 Star Juno Temple Teases Her Role In Marvel Threequel And Calls It A "Fun And Interesting" Experience

Ted Lasso star June Temple has talked about her role in Venom 3, possibly hinting that her character will undergo some changes during post-production (lending weight to those recent Scream rumours).

Venom 3 swings into theaters later this year and with lead star Tom Hardy hyping it up as "the last dance," speculation continues to run rampant that the end of this trilogy will also mark the conclusion of his time as Eddie Brock (well, at least until Sony shows up at his house with a truck full of cash and a contract for Sinister Six).

We're hoping the franchise ends on a high after a divisive origin story and a hit-and-miss take on Carnage. Of course, the biggest disappointment for many fans will be the fact this iteration of Venom has never shared the screen with Spider-Man.

Still, rumours continue to swirl that Venom 3 will revolve around Eddie tracking down his world's Peter Parker, only to find a child instead of the web-slinging superhero he caught sight of in Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home. We're not sure how much stock we'd put in those claims, though, as Spidey has supposedly been lined up for appearances in each of the Lethal Protector's previous movies, only for nothing to happen.

Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange) has joined the franchise - likely as the villainous General Orwell Taylor - as has Ted Lasso star Juno Temple. We have no idea who the latter is playing, though she may have dropped some clues in a recent interview with Variety

"I'm learning lots," the actress said. "It's fun and interesting, because there are so many things that you film that when the movie finally comes out will look different to what they were when we were filming them. I'm excited to see the creations that happen off camera, too."

Could that be an indication she'll "suit up" in the movie? Scream is arguably the perfect role for Temple, though we're sure many of you will roll your eyes at the prospect of Venom squaring off with yet another symbiote after previously clashing with Riot and Carnage.

Shortly before Venom 3 was announced, Hardy shared some insights into what he's hoping to see from a third instalment.

"These things [usually] come in threes. If there's going to be a new one - and they depend heavily on the success of each individual one, so you can't count on them ever happening again - every one has got to be as if it was the last one."

"But I think it's really important, if you go into something, thinking that one, two and three are the same...the same story, the same film. So that you don't surprise yourself by being caught out by suddenly having to do a third from nowhere. There's got to be some continuity into a third and fourth and fifth, and if somebody says 'no', that's fine. Let it go, and you move on to something else."

Produced by Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and Hutch Parker, and directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom 3 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 8, 2024.

They gotta have something a bit more interesting than just another evil symbiote again for the third time in a row.

I know a lot of people bag on the Venom films, but I find them fun and pretty good. Not tentpole style, but movies I don't mind watching.

@lazlodaytona - I just Marvel animation was anywhere near as consistent as DC as far as movies. Maximum Carnage would be fun to see animated.

Baron Mordo, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor in the MCU, and NEVER used is beyond ridiculous.

HE should be the strike that lands. Imagine if he helped Thanos gain the stones, pulled strings in No Way Home to glitch the spell, assisted Wanda in finding Chavez... criminally underused...

That Tom Hardy and Juno Temple are tied up in this horseshit is a [frick]ing travesty.

@ClintThaHamster - What’s this about Tom Hardy and Juno Temple tied up together? 50 Shades of Venim?

These movies really messed up not being rated R. It could have been a campy, bloody action horror but just became mediocre.

This could literally mean anything.

For example, there could be a scene where she was told to run away from something while screaming and minor explosions happen around her. In the finished movie, it could be shown she's being chased by a symbiote.

See?

@marvel72 - do they even have the rights to use Knull? Or does that belong to Marvel.
