VENOM And Carnage Get Some Cool Comic Inspired Action Figures Ahead Of The Movie's Release

Venom is set to be released this October and while Marvel seemingly won't be releasing any toys associated with the movie, the company has teamed up with Hasbro for this awesome batch of action figures...

Venom is finally getting the spotlight this October when Tom Hardy takes on the role of the Spider-Man villain on the big screen. While we'll hopefully see some merchandise for the movie, Hasbro is set to release a wave of Venom and Carnage action figures in the fall and you can get a sneak peek of those below. The question is, do they tell us anything at all about the upcoming big screen adaptation?

No, because these are comic-based designs but it is possible that Carnage has been featured heavily here because he's going to be in the movie. Then again, Sony has denied that he's even in the movie!

With our first look at Venom set to arrive at some point in the next couple of weeks, we'll hopefully find out more about which symbiotes are going to show up in the movie soon. For now, click either one of the buttons below to check out these toys and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

This awesome Carnage figure is part of Hasbro's defining Legends series and the six-inch figure comes with a giant axe which fans of his comic book adventures will, of course, be familiar with.

From that same line, there's Venom. Both he and Carnage will come with pieces of a Build-A-Figure character who has yet to be revealed. The figures will be priced at a fairly reasonable $19.99 each.

The figures come ahead of Tom Hardy's starring role as the Marvel anti-hero.

This two pack of figures features some very cool artwork of Venom and Carnage and if the characters look even half as cool as that on the big screen, it's fair to say that comic book fans will be very happy.

Venom and Carnage are also going to get the Titan Hero series treatment and each of these 12-inch figures will retail for $9.99. They're pretty damn cool even if they are aimed at youngsters!

Sooooo.....Infinity War superbowl spot is likely, on the fourth of February, then Solo trailer for the 5th, and there's the Deadpool 2 trailer on the 14th. Now, we got this trailer coming out, and we just got the Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer. Not to mention we're due for another Jessica Jones season 2 trailer soon, the only thing we're pissing is a quick sneak peek at Aquaman.

@ScarletWarlock - All these trailers you mentioned are pretty sweet... besides Jessica Jones. That show was trash to me. It was about a Superhero who only used her superpowers to have sex with Luke Cage.

The Carnage toy looks like carnage from Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon....

The bad thing is that we still don't know who will play him, there is probability that they can remake character by making Carlton Drake as host of symbiote instead of Cassidy, but if not I want Reid Scott be Cassidy

Not gonna lie, I’m looking forward to this film.
I could end up eating all the crow, and be wrong, but this could end up being good.

I hope....

Or another Fant4stic...

God I hope that’s not the case.

@Gdub510 - Carnage can be 6ft and crazy but the best part of Spider-Man 3 was when the symbote was ripped from Eddy and swelled up and looked like he MIGHT be cool, right before he was destroyed, anyone have a .gif of that?

@Gdub510 - Agreed. Hardy gave us Bane's mini-me, he better not give us a tiny Venom that can't fight too. They better give him the Hulk-CGI treatment or this will be another Spiderman3. At least he's more muscular than Eric Foreman from That 70s show.

@Atomicockroach - exactly, I couldn't believe it when he was cast as Brock in sm3 Hardy definitely has more potential, but honestly if the symbote isn't getting to Earth by being stuck to the bottom of an Outrider's ship in Infinity War, (would have rather had Spidey pick it up in space and utilize it while fighting Thanos), any predictions on how it's getting here?

These... actually look good! I'm quite shocked. Nothing else about this movie has looked very good. But then I'm not a Hardy fan. If Spider-Man has a significant part in this, I'll have to see it, but otherwise, naw.
