Tom Holland Could Really Use His Web-Shooters In The First Death-Defying Extended Clip From UNCHARTED

During their CES 2022 presentation earlier this evening, Sony brought out their billion-dollar man Tom Holland to debut the first clip from Uncharted, offering an extended look at the plane sequence.

During their CES 2022 presentation, Sony Pictures brought out Tom Holland to celebrate the recent release of Spider-Man: No Way Home and to share the first official clip from their upcoming video game movie adaptation, Uncharted.

The clip is quite a high-flying affair as we get an extended look at Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and Chloe Frazer (Sophia Taylor Ali) trying to escape the clutches of Braddock (Tati Gabrielle), with some impressive action that bodes well for what's to come next month.

While Morbius was moved to April, with many sources now claiming Sony wanted to spread out their Spider-Man properties to improve their Q2 balance sheet as opposed to pushing the movie back due to Omicron concerns, the studio has left Uncharted in its post-Valentine's release date for now.

Uncharted stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home; Avengers: Endgame) in the lead role as ace adventurer Nathan Drake with a supporting cast consisting of 2x Academy Award-nominee Mark Wahlberg (The Departed; The Fighter) as Sully Sullivan, Sophia Taylor Ali (Grey's AnatomyTruth or Dare) as Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of SabrinaYou) as Braddock, and Academy Award-nominee Antonio Banderas (The Mask of ZorroDesperado) as the primary antagonist.

Uncharted hits theaters on February 18.

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.

There are some cool shots in this, but the editing is really weird. Hope that is representative of the whole movie

Tom holland is now a bonafide star in Hollywood and mark walburg has been one for years. This movie will most likely be a box office hit.

Pretty fun sequence, but it just feels so much more unbelievable in live action to choose this particular one to do.

I like Holland well enough so might check it out. Doesn’t look like it distinguishes itself much from other treasure hunter shit like Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones, The Mummy etc. and Whalburg is a terrible actor but it has potential. This scene was cartoonish but fun.

Problem with these films now is they’re too clean. Whole thing feels like a product and its glossy. Whereas the genre should feel rugged and practical. Hell they made Brendan Frasier seem rough and tumble. This looks a little too plastic.

We'll get a credit scene of where Nathan runs into Vin diesel who comes out of the shadows saying "I'm Dom. I wanna tell you about the family"

Looks dumb fun but it's just a shame Marky Mark looks like Marky Mark and not Sully. I agree it does look too clean and polished. Being a gritty Indy style would have been good.
