Fans of Naughty Dog's acclaimed franchise will rejoice in the news that the Uncharted film will begin filming very shortly........

Naughty Dog's flagship franchise, Uncharted has been in development for a long time now. Even back when it was rumored to have American Hustle director, David O. Russel, at the helm with Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake.

Last we heard of it, Limitless director, Neil Burger took over directing duties. Now, Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon will take the helm on a script written by David Guggenheim (Safe House). In early 2015- Nathan Drake's triumphant cinematic debut will start filming early next year. No word in casting, but looks like maybe we might get some announcements soon. Keep fingers crossed for Comic Con
