I always think I want to play these games until I'm actually playing them, and then it just devolves into me running around killing anything in my path until the S.W.A.T. teams take me out. Repeat.

Those almost look like next gen graphics.

They say this is coming out for the PS3 and the xbox 360 but I believe the reason why they keep on delaying the game is that they're releasing this for next gen platforms as well.

No way those are PS3 or 360 screenshots. It's gotta be coming out on next-gen systems, or these are just renders

I used to suck at these games. I could never hack the storylines, and ended up just going on random killing sprees until the police killed me. I recently decided to give GTA IV a shot though, since I loved Red Dead Redemption (same studio/developers, similar gameplay), and I loved it. I think I'm now a GTA fan. Completed The Lost and Damned yesterday, might start The Ballad of Gay Tony this week.

I wish GTA V hadn't been delayed for so long. I hope the delay is worth it. Should be great.

@monkeyballs3 I don't think the city stuff is true. In order to render all those cities as fully playable sandbox areas, you'd need next gen technology. In fact, even next gen would probably struggle. GTA V is apparently just set in an area of San Andreas. But I think you're right about the character stuff though. There's definitely 3 playable protagonists, so it doesn't seem like too much of a stretch that you can switch between them whenever.

@ ACira.

If you played GTA San Andreas you'll find its much more varied in the activities you could do even compared with GTA 4. The Ballad of Gay Tony attempted to recapture some that game play and it seems GTA V will be R* best one yet.

gorgeous! Gameplay shots? Wowww! Even if the graphics were the same as San Andreas, if the storyline is solid I am in. San Andreas is a legend!

Haven't played this since GTA 3 and VICE CITY. So fun to run into a cop car and then see how long I can survive until the heavy artillery arrives.

What are you on about monkeyballs, as ACira said, thats not in the game at all. I heard about this before and it was one of the main guys in Rockstar saying they would love to have a game with all 3 cities someday. Its NOT physically possible on this generation

But I can see GTA VI or VII having all 3 cities. Maybe we could get GTA VI on the next generation and they could make a kickass Vice City with close to photorealistic graphics and then near the end of the next generation, have all 3 cities in GTA VII

Cant wait for V anyway, perfect ending to this gaming generation, show it at its best

@SotoJuiceMan, I didnt realise you left a reply for me and you probably wont see my reply, but Ill still leave it here for you

What I meant is they will not be able to have a game with 3 cities but at the same time, have each city be on the level and immersion of Liberty City from GTA IV and also have the option to travel between all 3. THAT wont be possible for a long time
