Telltale Games has taken us on quite the emotional journey with their point-and-click adventure series based on Robert Kirkman's
The Walking Dead franchise. Later this year, the journey will come to an end with the release of
The Walking Dead: The Final Season.
Not much is known about the highly anticipated fourth and final season of the series, but Telltale Games has announced plans to share their first details at PAX East next week. Taking to Twitter, the developer announced fans will get their first look at Clementine's final chapter during a PAX East panel on Friday, April 6. The panel begins at 12:30pm ET and will be streamed via Twitch for those at home.
In addition to a first look at the game, members of the series' core creative team and Clementine actress Melissa Hutchinson will be present at the panel which will be hosted by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller. "Together we’ll look back on Clementine’s journey so far and take a sneak peek at how it all ends," Telltale teases. Fans were first introduced to a young Clementine in 2012's The Walking Dead: Season One, which at the time put us in the role of Lee Everett. The Final Season should bring a fitting end to Clem's story, and the first teaser image shows an older Clementine now protecting a young child - quite the role reversal from when we first met her.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season will premiere later in 2018.
