The game, which is being developed to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the James Bond film franchise. Will incorporate the stories of six Bond films, retelling them with an over-arching narrative that ties them together.

I'm a big James Bond fan, but much like the video games, some of the movies were huge misses. Moonraker is one of those movies. So I am surprised to see it's inclusion in this game.

However, that fact the this trailer could make the Moonraker film so entertaining to play, is a feat in itself. And a great sign we could have another good James Bond video game adaption on our hands. Personally, I think the James Bond video games work better as third-person shooters.

But this trailer shows, much like the hugely popular N64 Goldeneye game(the one that started it all), first-person isn't such a bad way to go:

Skyfall will a play part in the game as one of the five other playable missions or as part of the ending narrative i.e. not playable. From the looks of the Skyfall trailer, I really hope it's the former.

007 Legends is set to release October 16th, on the Xbox 360, and PS3.

This looks good, but I would prefer just a straight forward Bond game based on the latest film or an orginial story.

I love goldeneye, but I also found I enjoyed Blood Stone too.

I hope they don't replace all of the Bonds with Daniel Craig. I like him, but lets give credit where credits due. That, and I would love a Bond game with several different Bonds.

@ironknight Unfortunately, all of them will be played by Daniel Craig. Just like him replacing Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye: Reloaded.

I love Daniel Craig in the role, but you're completely right. The original actors deserve credit.

If Nightfall and Rogue Agent were not made by EA, I would swear that they were just recycling stuff from those games, that how horrible this game looks.

MGM just so horrible at handling licenses to studios who only care about money and not about franchise.

lmfao!!!!

Oh man, where to begin? The epic dramatic theme launching half-way through the trailer for the so-called "Moonraker" mission - possibly the cheesiest Roger Moore film (which is saying a lot, actually).... that made me burst out laughing, especially since it's showing parts that were not in the movie.

Michael Lonsdale is French, and Hugo Drax likewise, lives in a château that was imported from France. I understand getting a different actor to voice him, as Lonsdale is ANCIENT.... but come on! On the flipside, Holly may not look the part, but she definitely sounds like it.

What is going on with these Bond games? I remember when GoldenEye came out, and a few years after, my friend watched the movie with me for the first time after beating the game countless times - this guy was geeking out like crazy because of the amount of accuracy and detail put into the environments and levels.

So I get the feeling, because it's called "Legends" and Moonraker is one of Roger Moore's better known films - this game will be something of "the Greatest Hits" for Bond. I think we can bet on Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and License to Kill popping up.

@Tainted It is pretty much like a greatest hits for James Bond. And I hear what you're saying. They could have of gone with Live And Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Man With The Golden Gun, or For Your Eyes Only.

How awesome would that be too be climbing up a cliff, while trying to prevent bad guys from removing your anchors, so you don't fall to your death? I would have much preferred a mission like that from For Your Eyes Only to Moonraker.

They have five more missions to do, which one of them could be for Skyfall. I hope they make better choices for the next four or possibly five missions.

@CoffeeBean I very much doubt Casino Royale will be one of the missions, but I could be wrong. Vesper Lynd(Eva Green) is up there as one of my favorite Bond girls, so she's always welcome in a Bond video game. :)

6 missions? They need more than that. Give us versions of Fort Knox from Goldfinger, the volcano from You Only Live Twice, Atlantis from The Spy Who Loved Me, obviously Moonraker, cocaine plant from License to Kill, etc. Damn it, I need to watch a Bond movie now.
