Aliens: Colonial Marines begins with an ostensibly abandoned ship, the U.S.S. Sulaco, recovered in orbit around LV-426. Players lead a group of highly trained United States Colonial Marines as they board the deserted craft to uncover the fate of the crew. They will have to fight to survive unspeakable horrors and their own anxieties as they chase down the truth behind a galaxy-spanning deception that places humanity at the mercy of the most murderous and deadly species in the universe. Aliens: Colonial Marines features authentic environments, such as the surface of LV-426 and Hadley’s Hope, weapons inspired by the film series and is designed to provide an exhilarating and engaging new chapter in the Aliens universe.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is scheduled for release on February 12th, 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Poorly reviewed. Utterly pedestrian fps. The review embargo obviously there to prop up pre-orders.

Woeful game.

1. Glad this site was up and running.

2. I pre-ordered this game. And judging by the negative buzz, I've got some business to take care of today. Especially since that trailer was beyond lazy.

It is supposed to follow the movie Aliens yet,

1) How did so many Xenomorphs get on the Sulaco?
2) Hadley's Hope was vaporized in a nuclear explosion.

3) I got a preview copy (thankfully for free)

They had SOOOOOO long to get this game right and they didn't. Yet another chapter of fail in this game series.

Got a 4.5 at both IGN & Gamespot. There is no excuse for that. From what I read, people have been trying to make this game since 2001...I was in the 8th grade around the time they started!lol

This just like Duke Nukem Forever.smh

I'm having fun with it! play on the hardest mode. People who play games on easy or normal act like they are " 1337 kr3w " and complain about how easy the game was.
but put on a more difficult setting they rage quit and bitch about the game being "hard". I'm more of a sony/pc/nintendo gamer not much of xbox guy but when ever i play cod on a friends xbox live.. its like ultra easy mode compared to ps3/pc players. If I were you I would Get the PC Version .

Apone: "All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the Corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the Corps!"
