Hey Wonderfriends!!!

Wonderverse has received news from Andy Mangels that "Today, October 25th, is the "real world" 70th birthday of Wonder Woman!"

That's right! America's Super-heroine Number One first appeared on newstands on this day back in 1941.

Andy Mangels explained: "The Amazing Amazon first appeared in a 9-page back-up story in All-Star Comics #8, written by her creator William Moulton Marston, and drawn by H.G. Peter.

The book had a cover-date of Dec-Jan 1941-1942, but because comics were/are sold months in advance of their cover-date, it first went on sale on newsstands on October 25, 1941.

The first issue of Sensation Comics (cover-dated January 1942) went on sale on November 7, 1941."

Happy Birthday Wonder Woman!

70 years without one movie?....COME ON WB! Give us a Wonder Woman movie!

And in response to all the postings, I want a PROPER ACTRESS, not some girl with massive tits and brown hair, to play WW.

She's a scorpio too? Sweet!

@ Corpse, Serinda Swan would be perfect... if she was taller.

Seeing Serinda's pic below Witchblade... she'd make a mighty fine Witchblade too. Anything to have her cast in a role where she doesn't have to wear much (if any) clothing would be good. ;p
