SPECTRE DP Debunks Involvement With WB's WONDER WOMAN Movie

Despite initial reports that the Wonder Woman movie would have the award-winning Hoyte Van Hoytema as the director of photography, the cinematographer has unfortunately dismissed any involvement.

It seems Meet The Movie Press was a bit premature in reporting that the director of photography behind Interstellar, Her and the upcoming Spectre, Hoyte Van Hoytema, would be working on the Wonder Woman movie. When The Playlist reached out to the Dutch-Swedish cinematographer for confirmation earlier today, he told the site "I have nothing to do with that movie" in response.

That's really too bad as many were excited to see the Amazon Princess' standalone venture be filmed by Hoyte Van Hotema, whose previous films have been Oscar-winners. There is no word on who will actually be behind the camera when Wonder Woman starts shooting in London and Italy this fall, but the long-awaited movie will be directed by Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot (Diana Prince) and Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), with a release date set for June 23, 2017. What do you think?
