It looks like Princess Diana will indeed be rocking that Golden Eagle helmet as part of her new armor in
Wonder Woman 1984.
When the first look at Gal Gadot sporting the upgraded costume (see above) was released, fans wondered if the headpiece would be included, and now a photo of some leaked merch definitely suggests that it will.
We've learned in the past not to put too much stock in what these tie-in figures seemingly reveal, but this appears to be from Funko's Mystery Mini line, and they are almost always accurate representations of the movie characters they're based on.
It's hardly a huge deal either way, of course, but it's something fans can hopefully look forward to seeing in live-action when the
first trailer debuts this December.
Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. Principal photography is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the Super Hero’s first outing, last summer’s record-breaking “Wonder Woman,” which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office. “Wonder Woman 1984” will also be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role.
Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on June 5, 2020.
