WONDER WOMAN 1984 Leaked Funko Figure Image May Confirm Full Golden Eagle Armor

When that shot of Gal Gadot in her armor was released, fans wondered if we'd also see Diana sport the eagle-like helmet from the comics in Wonder Woman 1984, and a new piece of merch suggests that we will.

It looks like Princess Diana will indeed be rocking that Golden Eagle helmet as part of her new armor in Wonder Woman 1984.

When the first look at Gal Gadot sporting the upgraded costume (see above) was released, fans wondered if the headpiece would be included, and now a photo of some leaked merch definitely suggests that it will.

We've learned in the past not to put too much stock in what these tie-in figures seemingly reveal, but this appears to be from Funko's Mystery Mini line, and they are almost always accurate representations of the movie characters they're based on.

It's hardly a huge deal either way, of course, but it's something fans can hopefully look forward to seeing in live-action when the first trailer debuts this December.

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. Principal photography is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the Super Hero’s first outing, last summer’s record-breaking “Wonder Woman,” which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office. “Wonder Woman 1984” will also be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on June 5, 2020.

@SuperManes - they really need to release a trailer. Seriously we were happy with the trailer Nolan put out a year before dark knight rises and that had like 5 second of new footage. They could have release something a long time ago

I'm looking forward to this movie, but at the same time they haven't done much to excite me for it tho. We need a trailer for this and a good look at Cheetah as well.

Ok, she left home pretty empty handed and wasn't allowed to go back, so where did she get it? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm low-key anticipating this one, mostly becuase of some of the rumors about the tone and setting. it's not going full-on "Ragnarok", but I don't know, the 80's setting, the neon colors on the poster, the shiny gold armor, I feel this will be right up my alley, specially if Gadot gets to loosen up a little bit more in the role. don't get me wrong, her stoic yet vulnerable badass demi-goddess demeanor in the first one fit the movie really well, but add a little bit of 80's swag to that and I feel this could be one unique heroine within the genre.

The iconic costume really should be the standard. I'm putting trust in Patty Jenkins to provide a logical reason for the armor. We don't have to see every costume that WW has worn including the white jump suit when she lost her powers.

I am really anxious to see how Cheetah is portrayed. I again trust Jenkins will not make it too campy. So far all we've seen is Kristen Wiig in street clothes.
