WONDER WOMAN Is Really, Really Old In BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

A new report stipulates that Wonder Woman is hundreds of years old in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If that's the case, will Snyder use the post-Crisis or New 52 origin for Wonder Woman?

The latest scoop from HeoricHollywood's El Mayimbe (formerly of Latino Review) is that Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is really old in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  In fact, she's been around for centuries!  It sounds outlandish, but this actually lends itself to previous reports that the Wonder Woman film will be something of a prequel to the DC Cinematic Universe, with the Amazonian warrior's solo outing being a Period Piece.

It will be interesting to see whether Snyder goes with Wonder Woman's New 52 origin- that she's half-Olympian God, the daughter of Zeus ( a female Hercules essentially).

Snyder could also opt for the pre-New 52 origin which details her origin as a clay statue given life by the Olympian Gods.  The third option, is that Snyder comes up with a completely new origin story for Wonder Woman but that seems unlikely given Snyder's penchant for remaining relatively close to the source material.

What do you think of this rumor? Would you like it to be true? Or do you think it would raise too many questions about what Wonder Woman has been up to all these years and why she's kept her existence a secret until Batman v Superman?

No. She's not old. She's simply 100 years young.

Makes sense. Like Thor she's thousands of years old but retains a young look due to her demigod-hood in her case. Wonder how they will approach when she revealed herself to the world....ww1, ww2....ancient times...1800s

We'll let's just hope Wonder Woman doesn't fall for Superman, as Gwen fell for Peter in TASM 2.

I remember hearing this months back. Mayimbe is out for WB's blood because he got his invitation rejected for the [frick]ing ENTOURAGE movie. They blocked him because he spoiled the BVS IMAX event.

He's butthurt because he can't go see a movie early.

[frick]ing manchild.

whether or not you assumed it to be the case this is relevant information. All we heard prior to this were rumors about the Mcclaren wonder woman movie, a movie which has been scrapped since then. This confirms that they seem to be going forward with the same portrayal
