Yet another mutant has been added to the cast of Fox's untitled X-Men family drama, though at least we know the identity of this one! According to Variety, Jamie Chung (who recently played Valerie Vale in Gotham and voiced Go Go in Big Hero 6) will star as Blink, a mutant with the power of teleportation. She hails from the comic books and was played by Fan Bingbing in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

This version of the character is described as, "sarcastic, lively and a bit of a tomboy. Her naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly 'home,' she is slowly becoming herself again."

The show is set to focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The Sentinels have been confirmed as appearing while Nix has been previously quoted as saying that the untitled series will be set in the same world as the films.

Blair Redford was recently cast as Sam, the strong-headed leader of the underground network. According to the trade, "a slew of other superhero characters are currently in the process of being cast." What do you guys think of this latest casting addition to the series?
