Bryan Singer On Peter Dinklage's Character In X-MEN: DOFP - "He's Not CGI"

We heard Dinklage will be playing the main baddie, and there's a rumor that is Boliver Trask, but nothing has been confirmed yet. But now director Bryan Singer drops a few hints about who the Game Of Thrones actor may be playing in an interview with IGN..

When it was announced that Peter Dinklage would be joining the already very impressive cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, many assumed he'd be playing Alpha Flight member Puck, but Bryan Singer would seem to have dismissed that entirely in his latest interview with IGN. He also drops a few interesting hints about what we can - or rather can't - expect to see. Some speculated that Dinklage may only be providing the voice and/or facial mo-cap for a completely CG character, but that is not the case. “He’s not going to be a CGI character,” said Singer. “He’ll be himself. Not that he’ll be playing Peter Dinklage, he’ll be playing this character. It’s not a shy character. He’s just such a phenomenal actor; I’m a huge fan of Peter’s and Game of Thrones. He was my first choice and I was really happy [about the casting]." So not shy, and not CGI..sounds like he may well be Trask, but there are plenty of other possibilities. The Jack The Giant Slayer director also said that he was negotiating with another actor for a role in the movie at the moment, and that we can expect announcements about that - as well as some “younger” characters - soon.
