COMICS: Adam Hughes & Olivier Coipel's UNCANNY X-MEN #600 Variants Revealed

CBR has provided us with our first look at two spectacular variants for the forthcoming Uncanny X-Men #600, which serves as the conclusion of Brian Michael Bendis' X-Men run. The two newly-revealed covers below harken back to eras of mutants past: Adam Hughes' is a take on the team of the '70s, with the famous 'All-New, All-Different' line up (plus Jean Grey exploding into the Phoenix), and Olivier Coipel's pulls elements from the 1980's, such as the X-Men's time in Australia. Are you planning on picking one of these up when the issue is finally released this October?

Ummm.. what's up with Colossus in the first cover? He looks like a last minute add... "Hmmm.. something is missing... What is it? What is - OH I know! I'll just grab this photo copy of Colossus and paste him right here! Perfect!"

That Coipel cover is just orgasmic. I wish he could draw all X-Men comics, his style fits perfectly with them.

Does this mean that Cyclops survives Secret Wars?
I'm getting really annoyed by having two of them running around. I never thought those originals would be time-displaced for this long.

I thought that they shut down 'Uncanny X-Men' years ago? How did it get to 600? Hate to say it, but I'm glad I quit collecting.

But still... wish they'd give me a reason to come back.

Loved the Outback Era. Was near the end of when I quit reading the X-Men regularly when the siege perilous was brought in.
